    Programs Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Strategic Leadership – Drive the execution of CAIN’s mission and strategic goals, ensuring measurable impact, growth, and long-term vision alignment.
    • Program Oversight – Design, implement, evaluate and scale high-impact educational programs across multiple African countries, focused on empowerment and systemic change.
    • Data Management and Analysis – Collect, manage, and analyze relevant data from all programs, ensuring CAIN makes data-driven decisions.
    • Financial & Resource Management – Lead budgeting, financial planning, and reporting to ensure accountability, transparency, and resource optimization.
    • Stakeholder & Partnership Engagement – Build and nurture strong relationships with donors, NGOs, government bodies, corporate partners, and other key stakeholders.
    • Operations & Team Management – Oversee daily operations, while managing staff, volunteers, and project teams to ensure smooth and effective program delivery.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Education, Social Sciences, Nonprofit Management, Business, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, nonprofit leadership, fundraising, or a similar role.
    • Proven track record of implementing and evaluating high impact programs, preferably in the education sector.
    • Proven track record of raising funds through grant writing, corporate sponsorships, and major donor engagement.
    • Demonstrated expertise in nonprofit compliance, including adherence to regulatory requirements, reporting standards, and governance best practices.
    • Strong financial management skills with experience overseeing budgets, managing multi-year funding, and ensuring accurate donor reporting and compliance.

    Administrative and Finance Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    Administrative Responsibilities

    • Office management – Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office, including supplies, utilities, and facilities.
    • Staff support and HR – Maintain personnel records, support onboarding/offboarding, track leave, and ensure policy compliance.
    • Vendor and contract management – Oversee procurement, manage service contracts, and ensure timely payments.
    • Documentation and compliance – Maintain up-to-date organizational documents, licenses, and policies.
    • Support leadership – Assist senior management with research, fundraising, strategic planning, execution, reporting, and evaluation of programs.
    • Coordinate logistics – Oversee travel, meetings, trainings, and other internal events.
    • IT and asset management – Track office assets and support basic tech or liaise with vendors for support.
    • Ensure timely and effective communication across teams – Facilitate smooth internal coordination to drive efficient project and program delivery.

    Finance Responsibilities

    • Support grant reporting – Track donor funds, prepare financial reports for grants, and ensure proper fund allocation.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s degree in AccountingFinance, or a related field (minimum 2:1).
    • Must have completed NYSC.
    • 1–2 years of experience working in an Accounting or Audit firm.
    • Strong understanding of accounting systems, budgeting, and compliance.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage a wide range of stakeholders, including partners, donors, staff, students, and volunteers.
    • Patience and the ability to build positive and supportive relationships with teenagers.
    • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
    • High proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and other administrative software and tools.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Mandatory availability to work every Saturday to support program activities.

    Tech Education Lead

    Key Responsibilities

    Digital Skills Training:

    • Design, deliver, and continually refine dynamic digital literacy programs, from basic computer use (typing, document processing, internet navigation) to advanced skills in coding (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) and graphic design (e.g., CorelDRAW, Canva).
    • Create a structured yet flexible curriculum that adapts to evolving technology trends, ensuring students master essential 21st-century digital competencies.
    • Develop training resources, tutorials, and workshops that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, particularly for first-time tech learners.

    Digital Skills Lab Management:

    • Establish, manage, and continuously optimize the CAIN Digital Skills Lab to create a cutting-edge, inspiring learning environment.
    • Maintain the lab’s infrastructure, ensuring all technology assets—including laptops, routers, projectors, and TVs—are fully operational, secure, and up-to-date.
    • Implement tech policies that ensure safety, accountability, and sustainability of the lab’s resources.

    Tech Support & Solutions:

    • Provide practical tech solutions that enhance CAIN Africa’s administrative operations and digital education delivery.
    • Oversee the regular maintenance and content updates of CAIN Africa’s website, ensuring it remains user-friendly, visually appealing, and relevant.
    • Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot essential tech infrastructure, including internet connectivity and digital platforms.

    Student Engagement & Mentorship:

    • Deliver engaging, relatable classes that spark curiosity and empower students, particularly children, youth, and beginners, to build confidence in technology.
    • Offer individual mentorship to students, nurturing their growth from foundational skills to real-world tech readiness.
    • Foster a vibrant learning community that emphasizes innovation, creativity, collaboration, and resilience.

    Program Development & Innovation:

    • Collaborate with the education team to design, pilot, and scale innovative, high-impact digital skills programs.
    • Organize coding challenges, student projects, hackathons, and tech exhibitions to showcase student achievements and build practical portfolios.
    • Integrate global tech trends and emerging technologies into program design to keep students globally competitive.

    Research, Fundraising & Partnership Development:

    • Champion CAIN Africa’s tech programs at conferences, community events, and online platforms to enhance visibility, attract support, and build a global network.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Education, or a related field.
    • 2–5 years of proven experience teaching digital skills, especially to teenagers and young adults.
    • Strong proficiency in website development, including WordPress management, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
    • Skilled in graphic design tools such as Canva, CorelDRAW, or the Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Demonstrated experience managing digital skills labs, tech equipment, and maintaining digital infrastructure.
    • Proven ability to design, update, and deliver engaging digital skills curricula suited to diverse learning needs.
    • Effective mentoring, communication, and classroom management skills, with a passion for student success.

    Community Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    Volunteer & Alumni Engagement

    • Build and maintain an active volunteer network, offering value, appreciation, and timely information on volunteer opportunities at CAIN.
    • Develop and manage a thriving alumni network, keeping alumni connected to CAIN’s mission and engaged with opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and storytelling.
    • Plan and coordinate community events (virtual and in-person) to strengthen volunteer and alumni engagement.

    Beneficiary Communication & Support

    • Conduct regular check-ins with current students, alumni, parents, and grantees, offering support, updates, capturing feedback, and tracking progress.
    • Track and report alumni progress, identifying challenges and sharing relevant opportunities for education, employment, or mentorship.

    Donor, Partner & Sponsor Relations

    • Provide consistent, personalized updates to donors, sponsors, and partners, celebrating milestones and transparently communicating challenges and impact.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
    • At least 2 years of experience in community management or a similar people-centered role (experience working with youth, volunteers, or donor engagement is an added advantage).
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect meaningfully with people across different ages, backgrounds, and cultures.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft engaging emails, reports, and community stories.
