    Team Lead, Credit and Collections

    Job Summary

    • Drive the company’s credit and collections strategy by ensuring timely credit risk assessment, enforcing credit policies, optimizing collections efficiency, and minimizing bad debts. The role ensures financial stability by balancing revenue growth with risk management, fostering strong customer relationships, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. The Team Lead acts as a key link between sales, finance, and risk teams to ensure creditworthiness, prompt collections, and dispute resolution, while also implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

    Job Details

    Credit Risk Management & Policy Compliance

    • Assess credit applications and ensure compliance with company policies.
    • Evaluate customer creditworthiness using financial statements, payment history, and industry benchmarks.
    • Define and enforce credit limits and payment terms.
    • Enforce compliance with requisite documentation and approval processes for credit extensions.
    • Metrics: Credit approval turnaround time (≤48 hours), bad debt reduction (≥20%), compliance rate (≥98%), credit limit adherence (≥98%), credit application turnaround time (≤48 hours).

    Collections & Receivables Optimization

    • Develop and implement proactive collections strategies to reduce overdue invoices.
    • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and take action on delinquent accounts.
    • Work with customers to resolve account reconciliation disputes and negotiate payment plans.
    • Maintain strong collaboration with the sales and finance teams to ensure alignment on credit terms.
    • Metrics: DSO improvement (≥15%), overdue invoice collection rate (≥95%), customer dispute resolution time (≤5 days), Reduction in overdue invoices (≥25%), dispute resolution time (≤5 days).

    Customer Relationship Management & Dispute Resolution

    • Engage directly with key customers to maintain strong relationships and improve payment behavior.
    • Address and resolve payment disputes efficiently.
    • Communicate credit terms and collection policies effectively to customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Metrics: Customer satisfaction with credit processes (≥90%), reduction in recurring disputes (≥20%), resolution time for disputes (≤5 days).

    Reporting, Compliance & Financial Controls

    • Prepare detailed credit and collection reports for senior management.
    • Drive compliance with financial regulations, internal audit policies, and credit control best practices.
    • Liaise with external auditors, legal teams, and regulatory bodies regarding credit policies and overdue debt management.
    • Metrics: Report accuracy (≥98%), compliance audit pass rate (≥95%), risk mitigation measures implemented (≥2 per year), Report submission timeliness (≥95%), reconciliation accuracy (≥98%), real-time AR alignment with GL (≥98%).

    Process Optimization & Strategy Implementation

    • Identify inefficiencies in the credit control and collections processes and implement improvements.
    • Drive automation of credit risk assessment and collection tracking.
    • Develop credit risk mitigation strategies, including credit insurance and alternative financing solutions.
    • Metrics: Process improvement initiatives executed (≥3 per year), automation implementation rate (≥80%), efficiency improvement in collections (≥20%

    Senior Associate - Transfer Pricing

    Job Summary

The ideal candidate will work with the team to help our clients identify and analyze priorities and develop policies to provide guidance and detailed advice. You will help clients coordinate their transfer pricing issues and help define their business requirements and develop appropriate tax strategies. You will focus on all aspects of documentation planning, dispute resolution, and advance pricing agreements.

    Job Details

    • Demonstrate an understanding of complex TP concepts and effectively apply economic/financial knowledge to client situations.
    • Proactively managing a portfolio of clients and projects including all aspects of financial and risk management.
    • Develop and deliver quality transfer pricing and economic ideas with timely and responsive services/work products.
    • Participation in developing recommendations and implementation plans.
    • Analyze information. Prepare quality, practical approaches to the client's economic situation and arrive at logical conclusions.
    • Working with clients and helping them to manage their transfer pricing risk.

    SKILLS AND COMPETENCY

    • Prior experience in Transfer Pricing Documentation and Transfer Pricing Diagnostic Reviews.
    • Proven advisory and compliance experience across direct tax, indirect tax, international tax, and transfer pricing.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of 4 years in tax consultancy, ideally in a professional services organization.
    • The possession of ICAN/ACCA certification is an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of managing functional analysis interviews to identify and assess clients’ inter-company transactions.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
    • Data management and analysis experience.
    • Maintain excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in the use of transfer pricing tools and databases.
    • Ability to work independently and also work well with others.
    • A minimum of a Second Class (Upper) degree from an accredited university.
    • A minimum of 5 O’ level credits including English Language and Mathematics at one sitting.
