    Internal Auditor / Compliance Officer

    Purpose of Position

    • This position plays a key role in the review of policies, implementation of internal controls in the Bank.

    Key Functions of the Position

    • Daily call over of the bank transactions with system balance
    • Carryout Investigation as the Audit checklist and supervisor’s recommendation to achieve optimal result for the bank.
    • To plan, organize and carry out the internal controls function including the preparation of an audit manual, audit plan, scheduling and assigning work and estimating resource needs.
    • Conduct risk assessment of departments/functional areas in accordance with timelines.
    • Conduct audit testing of potential risk areas and identify reportable issues
    • To conduct any reviews or tasks as requested
    • Actively participates in the development of Internal Control policies ensuring that they are relevant to the Bank
    • Develop and implement appropriate operating procedures to ensure compliance with the Bank’s Policies.
    • Generate periodic report to the Head Internal control for improve performance
    • Monitor and provide advice to minimize risk resulting from poor internal controls.
    • Identify areas of financial and administrative strengths and weaknesses and Develop best practices.
    • May train other staff on Internal Controls.
    • Submit monthly returns to CBN
    • Prepare all necessary books for CBN and NDIC audits

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in Banking, Finance, Economics or other related fields and must possess MCP. ICAN or ACCA a minimum of 6 years experience. 
    • Candidates who have worked in similar position in a Microfinance Bank with appreciable knowledge of a MCB Software, CBN regulations and AML laws will have an advantage.

    Driver

    Job Summary

    • A Driver is a person employed to drive the Hotel’s Vehicle, deliver or collect goods or mailings. Drivers must be able to endure long hours driving, carry out vehicle maintenance checks and interact with clients in a professional conduct.
    • They should also practice safety and health regulations to protect themselves and other people on the road.

    Key Job Roles

    • Transporting guests from one place to the other. For example from airports to Hotels and vice versa.
    • Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks.
    • Delivering packages to customers in a timely manner.
    • Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
    • Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route.
    • Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.
    • Updating monthly mileage records.
    • Interacting with Guests in a professional manner
    • Working at night and on weekends.
    • Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
    • Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient gas and are always ready for use.

    Job Requirements

    • Should possess an SSCE / OND qualification with a minimum of 5 years experience.
    • The ideal candidate must have a current drivers license and must have pass all lagos State drivers tests.
    • Candidates living within Ikeja would have an advantage.
    • Proven experience as a Driver
    • A valid driver’s license
    • A clean driving record
    • Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
    • Familiarity with GPS devices
    • Knowledge of area roads and neighbourhoods
    • Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
    • Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
    • A polite and professional disposition
    • Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
