    HSE Officer

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a qualified HSE Officer who willImplement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant working environment in accordance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
    • Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations to identify hazards, promote safety awareness, and drive continuous improvement in HSE performance.

    Responsibilities

    • Implement and monitor the company’s HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits on vessels, facilities, and operational sites.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable local and international HSE standards (e.g., NIMASA, ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL).
    • Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions. Facilitate HSE training, inductions, and toolbox talks for crew and onshore staff.
    • Maintain and update HSE documentation, reports, and records in line with regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor environmental impact and waste management practices in marine operations.
    • Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
    • Support the continuous improvement of safety culture and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc. / HND in Environmental Science, Engineering, Safety Management, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 3 years of HSE experience, preferably in the marine or oil & gas logistics sector.
    • HSE Level 1, 2 & 3 (or equivalent).
    • NEBOSH or ISPON certification is an added advantage.
    • Strong knowledge of HSE standards and marine safety regulations.
    • Excellent observational, reporting, and documentation skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    DPA (Designated Person Ashore) Officer

    Job Overview

    • We are looking for a DPA Officer who will Ensure ISM Code Compliance and Act as the link between ship and shore to maintain effective Safety Management Systems.
    • Promote Safety & Pollution Prevention Oversee operations to reduce risks and uphold a strong safety culture.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as the primary contact between ship and shore for all safety, pollution prevention, and regulatory compliance matters.
    • Monitor and ensure the implementation of the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) onboard vessels.
    • Conduct internal safety audits, inspections, and reviews in line with ISM Code and flag/state requirements.
    • Ensure timely reporting and investigation of incidents, near misses, and non-conformities; follow up on corrective actions.
    • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation required under the ISM Code and other applicable maritime regulations.
    • Liaise with flag state, classification societies, and regulatory bodies such as NIMASA.
    • Provide support and guidance to vessel crews on safety, environmental protection, and operational best practices.
    • Organize and oversee safety drills, emergency preparedness activities, and crew training.
    • Participate in regular vessel visits to assess SMS effectiveness and safety culture.
    • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of safety procedures and manuals.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • B.Sc./HND in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar DPA or marine safety role.
    • Seafaring background or experience working closely with marine operations is a strong advantage.
    • DPA Certification in accordance with ISM Code requirements.
    • STCW Certification is an added advantage.
    • HSE Level Certifications or NEBOSH is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, and other maritime safety regulations.
    • Excellent communication, report writing, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and make sound safety-related decisions.
    • Proficient in MS Office and safety management software systems.

    Technical Operations Manager

    Job Overview

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • B.Sc./HND in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
    • 7+ years of relevant experience in marine technical operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
    • Experience in offshore support vessels (OSVs), tugboats, or similar marine logistics environments.
    • Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance, classification rules, and marine safety regulations.
    • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
    • Proficiency in budgeting and technical cost control.
    • Strong understanding of maritime regulatory compliance (NIMASA, ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL).
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.  Strong problem-solving, decision making, and analytical abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    Crewing Manager

    Job Overview

    • We are seeking a crew manager who willOversee and manage crewing operations for a fleet of vessels (offshore, cargo, cruise, or other maritime sectors), ensuring efficient planning, scheduling, and deployment of crew.
    • Ensure vessels are staffed with qualified, certified, and competent crew members in full compliance with international maritime laws, flag state requirements, and company policies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage end-to-end crew operations, including recruitment, onboarding, deployment, and repatriation of seafarers.
    • Ensure all crew certifications, medicals, and documentation are valid and meet regulatory, flag state, and client requirements.
    • Develop and maintain a crew matrix for all vessels in line with operational and statutory needs.
    • Liaise with manning agents, training institutions, and regulatory bodies (e.g., NIMASA) for crew sourcing and compliance.
    • Plan crew rotations and monitor crew welfare, performance, and discipline.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date crew database and ensure timely renewals of licenses and certifications.
    • Coordinate crew logistics such as travel, accommodation, and visa arrangements.
    • Work closely with vessel captains, operations teams, and HR to resolve crew-related issues.
    • Monitor crew budget, cost-effectiveness, and ensure efficient utilization of manpower.
    • Support audits, inspections, and client compliance processes as related to crewing.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • B.Sc / HND in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in crewing or marine personnel management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • Experience in offshore or marine logistics operations is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of STCW, MLC 2006, and relevant maritime labor regulations.
    • Certification in Crew Management or HR-related fields is an advantage.
    • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and crewing/HR software systems.
