    HR Business Partner (HRBP)

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to drive both strategic and operational HR initiatives across the organization.
    • The ideal candidate will partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, oversee talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, policy implementation, and foster a high-performance culture across multiple locations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with department heads to implement HR strategies that support business goals.
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
    • Drive performance management processes and coach managers on employee development.
    • Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and statutory requirements.
    • Support compensation, benefits administration, and HR systems implementation.
    • Develop and implement employee engagement and culture initiatives.
    • Maintain accurate HR records, policies, and documentation.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
    • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM-CP, PHRi, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 5–7 years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
    • Experience in manufacturing, retail, or other operational environments is preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and statutory compliance.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, employee relations, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Showroom Manager - Furniture Showroom

    About the Role

    • Do you love beautiful spaces, thrive on hitting sales targets, and know how to turn a showroom visit into a sale? SPAR is looking for an Outlet Concept Manager to take full ownership of our Furniture Showroom in Port Harcourt — running the floor, leading the team, and making sure every customer who walks in leaves impressed (and buying).
    • This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can sell, merchandise, and manage a team — all at once — while keeping the showroom looking every bit as premium as the SPAR brand demands.

    What You'll Do

    • Drive showroom sales and consistently hit monthly targets
    • Welcome customers, present products, and prepare accurate quotations
    • Generate and follow up on leads to support ongoing business growth
    • Curate attractive, on-brand product displays and visual merchandising
    • Maintain showroom operations in line with SPAR's standards and procedures
    • Oversee orders, payments, deliveries, and inventory accuracy
    • Prepare sales reports and share market/customer feedback with leadership
    • Lead, coach, and motivate the showroom sales team to perform at their best

    What You Bring

    • HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, Interior Design, or a related field
    • 3–5 years' experience in retail/showroom sales — furniture or home décor experience is required
    • Strong sales and customer relationship skills, with a track record of hitting targets
    • Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team
    • Good understanding of showroom operations and visual merchandising

    Pre-Sales Executive

    Job Summary

    • Our client is seeking energetic and results-driven pre-sales executives to support our sales operations by driving market penetration, expanding our retail network, and ensuring excellent product visibility across assigned territories.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct daily meetings and visits with customers within the assigned territory.
    • Execute field sales activities to achieve assigned sales objectives.
    • Identify, validate, and onboard new retail outlets.
    • Communicate product value, pricing, and ongoing promotions to customers.
    • Drive product penetration and revenue growth within the territory.
    • Ensure proper product visibility through effective merchandising activities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers.
    • Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
    • Ensure accurate execution of assigned sales routes and daily reporting.
    • Support sales initiatives and promotional campaigns as required.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Higher National Diploma (HND)
    • 1–2 years of FMCG sales experience preferred.
    • Experience in field sales or route-to-market operations is an added advantage.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Customer-focused with excellent relationship management abilities.
    • Good negotiation and selling skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Basic proficiency in using smartphones and sales applications.
    • Good knowledge of the assigned territory.
    • High level of integrity, discipline, and accountability.
    • Must reside within or close to the assigned location.
    • Ability to meet daily sales and outlet coverage targets.
