Role Summary

• We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer to provide technical leadership for rotating equipment on a long-term FPSO maintenance contract. This role provides second-line technical support to offshore operations, driving equipment reliability, performance, and operational excellence across critical production assets.

Essential:

• Mechanical engineering degree 
• Chartered or COREN registered.
• Fifteen years, substantially on offshore production facilities. FPSO preferred.
• Centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, seal gas, lube oil, dry gas seals, turbines, pumps, generators, cranes.
• Condition monitoring and vibration analysis — able to read the data, not just receive the report.
• Root cause failure analysis, and the standing to take a finding to an OEM and hold it.
• Static equipment, pressure vessels, piping and valves as a secondary strength.
• BOSIET and offshore medical, or willing to obtain. Available to mobilise at short notice.
• English essential. French and West Africa regional experience a strong advantage.
• OEM background — Siemens, Solar, Baker Hughes, Atlas Copco. Reliability-centred maintenance and criticality assessment is an advantage

Role Summary

• We are seeking an accomplished Senior Maintenance Lead to oversee maintenance operations on a long-term integrated maintenance contract supporting an FPSO, associated wellhead platforms, and onshore facilities. As the second-in-command on the contract, you will lead a multidisciplinary maintenance organization of approximately 70 personnel while deputising for the Project Manager and ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient asset performance.

Key Responsibilities:

You will own:

• The maintenance programme across all assets — preventive, corrective, condition-based and shutdown.
• The CMMS. MAXIMO is the system of record — work order quality, backlog, criticality, spares and equipment history.
• Planning and scheduling, including the annual shutdown and the planned maintenance hours budget.
• Safety critical element assurance and maintenance performance reporting.
• The technical interface with the client, a national oil company.
• The offshore maintenance superintendent and the onshore technical support team.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Fifteen years in oil and gas maintenance, of which five running a maintenance organisation — not project or commissioning work.
• FPSO or floating production experience. As well as mooring, hull, marine systems, offloading. Not negotiable.
• Genuine CMMS ownership. MAXIMO preferred, SAP, AMOS PM acceptable.
• Engineering degree, chartered or equivalent registration advantageous.
• Valid BOSIET and offshore medical.
• West Africa regional experience.
• Rotating equipment and gas compression depth; DNV class experience; brownfield life extension; contract mobilisation is an advantage
