    Home and Abroad Manager

    Job Purpose

    • The Home and Abroad Property Manager is responsible for coordinating, managing, and facilitating local and international (diaspora) property acquisition and investment transactions. The role ensures secure, transparent, and compliant property purchases for clients, working in close collaboration with the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), relevant government agencies, and vetted property developers.
    • The role serves as a trusted bridge between diaspora investors, local real estate stakeholders, and government institutions, safeguarding interests, managing risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Property Acquisition and Investment Management

    • Coordinate end-to-end property purchase processes for clients within Nigeria and abroad.
    • Manage online, remote, and in-person property acquisition workflows for diaspora clients.
    • Conduct due diligence on properties, developers, and sellers to ensure legitimacy and compliance.
    • Support negotiation, documentation, and transaction closure for residential and commercial properties.

    Diaspora Engagement and Client Management

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Nigerians in the diaspora seeking property investment opportunities.
    • Provide advisory support on property options, investment risks, timelines, and legal requirements.
    • Manage client onboarding, expectations, updates, and post-purchase support.
    • Build trust and long-term relationships with diaspora clients through transparency and service excellence.

    Government and NiDCOM Liaison

    • Maintain active working relationships with NiDCOM, land registries, and relevant federal and state government agencies.
    • Ensure property acquisition processes align with government regulations, diaspora investment frameworks, and NiDCOM guidelines.
    • Support NiDCOM-led initiatives, roadshows, and diaspora engagement programs related to housing and investment.
    • Facilitate government approvals, verifications, and documentation required for diaspora property purchases.

    Legal, Compliance and Risk Management

    • Work closely with legal counsel to ensure land titles, deeds, surveys, and contracts are valid and enforceable.
    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian property laws, land use regulations, and anti-fraud standards.
    • Identify and mitigate risks related to land disputes, encumbrances, or regulatory breaches.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready records for all transactions.

    Partnerships and Vendor Management

    • Identify, vet, and manage relationships with reputable property developers, agents, and construction firms.
    • Establish partnership frameworks that protect client interests and uphold quality standards.
    • Monitor vendor performance and address disputes or service issues promptly.

    Digital Platforms and Online Property Transactions

    • Oversee the use of digital tools and platforms for virtual property tours, documentation, and client engagement.
    • Support the development and use of secure online property transaction systems.
    • Ensure data privacy and secure handling of client information.

    Reporting, Monitoring and Performance Management

    • Prepare regular reports on property transactions, client portfolios, risks, and pipeline opportunities.
    • Track transaction timelines, completion rates, and client satisfaction metrics.
    • Provide management with insights on market trends, diaspora demand, and investment opportunities.
