    Head Upstream Operations, Engineering Projects & Servicing

    Job Objective(s)

    • The Head, Upstream Operations, Engineering Projects & Servicing Assistant is responsible for coordinating upstream activities, engineering service requests, operational planning, vendor engagement, field support, and service delivery processes for Kachy Petroleum & Gas Limited.
    • This role works closely with management, engineering partners, rig operators, NOCs/IOCs, and field teams to ensure smooth execution of upstream projects including AGO supply, equipment servicing, logistics coordination, project scheduling, and client reporting.

    Responsibilities
    Upstream Operations Management:

    • Coordinate upstream operations including rig energy supply, AGO delivery scheduling, and equipment readiness.
    • Work with rig operators, operations partners, and logistics teams to ensure timely movements.
    • Maintain operational dashboards, logs, and trackers.
    • Monitor rig requirements, consumption, and field schedules.

    Engineering Projects Support:

    • Assist in planning and execution of engineering projects.
    • Liaise with engineers, OEMs, and technical vendors.
    • Support preparation of BOQs, work scopes, equipment lists, and compliance documents.
    • Ensure documentation for permits, safety clearances, and approvals.

    Client & Vendor Engagement:

    • Maintain relationships with IOCs, NOCs, rig operators, and procurement teams.
    • Support proposal submissions, tender documentation, and new opportunities.
    • Attend to client requests and operational queries.
    • Engage AGO suppliers, barge companies, and service providers.

    Compliance & Documentation:

    • Prepare and maintain compliance documentation (DPR/NUPRC, HSE files, permits, vendor onboarding).
    • Maintain updated compliance folders for each client, project, and operation.
    • Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety guidelines.

    Project Coordination & Scheduling:

    • Plan and monitor upstream project timelines.
    • Coordinate mobilization and demobilization activities.
    • Develop weekly and monthly operational reports.
    • Track project performance, costs, and bottlenecks.

    Field & Logistics Support:

    • Support field logistics including transportation, vessel coordination, and materials dispatch.
    • Monitor delivery timelines and field challenges.
    • Maintain communication between field operators and office management.

    Executive & Strategic Support:

    • Support the CEO with data, reports, and operational analytics.
    • Maintain accurate records, risk assessments, and operational insights.
    • Identify upstream opportunities and areas for operational improvement.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, Electrical, or related field).
    • 5–8 years experience in upstream operations, rig support, servicing, or engineering project coordination.
    • Experience working with NOCs/IOCs.
    • Strong technical background with ability to interpret engineering documents.
    • Field operations and logistics experience.

    Skills & Competencies:

    Head of Downstream Operations

    Job Objective(s)

    • The Head of Downstream Operations is responsible for overseeing the operational, technical, safety, and commercial performance of all Kachy Petroleum & Gas Limited’s downstream service stations, including Fuel (PMS, AGO, DPK), CNG stations, LPG filling plants, and hybrid multi‑energy stations.
    • The role ensures operational excellence, safety compliance, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and coordinated management across all downstream locations.

    Responsibilities
    Operations Leadership & Oversight:

    • Lead and supervise all downstream stations—fuel, CNG, LPG, and hybrid energy sites.
    • Ensure stations operate with maximum efficiency, safety, and profitability.
    • Manage station managers, pump attendants, cashiers, conversion technicians, and LPG operators.
    • Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

    Fuel Station Management:

    • Oversee fuel product ordering, stock management, and pump calibration.
    • Monitor sales volumes, pump performance, and reconciliation processes.
    • Ensure fuel quality, tank management, and equipment readiness.
    • Resolve operational challenges such as shortages and equipment failures.

    CNG Operations & Conversion Centre Management:

    • Oversee CNG filling station operations, compressors, dispensers, and safety systems.
    • Supervise CNG conversion workshop teams.
    • Manage CNG pressure levels, quality control, and maintenance schedules.
    • Ensure compliance with Pi-CNG, NMDPRA, SON, and OEM guidelines.

    LPG Filling Plant Management:

    • Manage LPG filling operations, digital scales, cylinder integrity, and bottling processes.
    • Oversee distribution schedules and home/industrial delivery.
    • Enforce safety protocols for LPG handling and firefighting readiness.
    • Ensure equipment maintenance including pumps, compressors, tanks, and pipelines.

    Financial & Commercial Performance:

    • Monitor P&L for each station and track margins, revenues, and operating costs.
    • Review daily sales reports and stock variances.
    • Drive customer experience improvement and sales expansion strategies.
    • Ensure proper cash handling, POS reconciliation, and bank lodgments.

    F. Regulatory Compliance & Safety:

    • Ensure compliance with NMDPRA, SON, DPR/NUPRC, Pi-CNG, environmental boards, and state regulatory authorities.
    • Conduct safety audits, HSE briefings, and compliance repairs.
    • Implement robust safety measures for fuel, CNG, LPG, and hybrid operations.

    Infrastructure, Engineering & Asset Management:

    • Maintain pumps, compressors, generators, CNG skids, LPG compressors, tanks, and retail shop assets.
    • Ensure operational readiness and timely resolution of faults.
    • Support construction, expansion, and upgrade of new/existing stations.

    Staff Leadership & Human Capital Management:

    • Supervise station personnel across all downstream sites.
    • Implement training programs and performance evaluations.
    • Ensure professional conduct, accountability, and operational discipline.

    Reporting & Strategic Support:

    • Prepare weekly and monthly downstream performance reports.
    • Propose expansion strategies for new stations.
    • Advise management on pricing, supply risks, and market trends.

    Qualification & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 7–10 years proven experience in downstream operations.
    • Experience managing multi‑station fuel, CNG, and LPG operations.
