    Front Office Administrative Assistant

    Job Description

    • An established Nursery and Primary School located in Ibadan invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Front Office Administrative Assistant.
    • This role requires a highly organised and professional individual with demonstrable experience in school administration, strong communication skills and the ability to represent the school effectively as the first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Management or Business Administration.
    • A minimum of two (2) years relevant post-qualification experience in admissions or administration within an educational establishment (Nursery/Primary school experience will be an advantage).
    • Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with excellent keyboarding and correspondence skills.
    • Proven ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
    • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
    • Must reside within commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan.

    Early Years Educator (Nursery Ages 3–5)

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking seeking to appoint an experienced and committed Nursery Teacherto join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. We welcome applications from qualified Early Years Educators with strong passion for early childhood development andunderstanding of the British Early Years Curriculum.
    • Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting and extending the learning of children aged 3 to 5 years, through high-quality teaching, play-based learning, and nurturing care.

    Qualifications, Experience, and Skills - Essential Requirements
    Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be considered:

    • Must reside in Ibadan, within reasonable commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan
    • Minimum academic qualification of B.Ed., B.A., B.Sc., HND, or PGDE in Early Childhood Education, English, or a closely related field from a recognised institution
    • An additional Diploma or Certificate in Montessori Education is required
    • A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar role, with a demonstrable understanding of the British Early Years Curriculum
    • Ability to teach phonics, or a willingness to be trained in phonics instruction
    • Competence in teaching early mathematics and literacy, with a clear understanding of developmentally appropriate teaching strategies
    • Experience in supporting handwriting development in young learners
    • Possession of creative teaching skills such as music, dance, drama, and arts & crafts is essential
    • Excellent English language skills – written, spoken, and reading – are mandatory
    • Proficient in the use of basic computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, internet browsing) to support teaching and learning
    • Strong classroom management and effective teaching skills
    • Ability to engage and motivate young learners through play-based learning, promoting emotional, social, and educational development
    • Enthusiastic, innovative, and dynamic in delivering lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners
