Reports To Factory Manager / Production Manager

Supervises Spray Painters, Polishers, Finishers

Job Purpose

To ensure all furniture finishing (painting, polishing, staining) meets color accuracy, surface smoothness, and durability standards without defects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise preparation, priming, sanding, spraying, and polishing
• Ensure correct paint mixing ratios and approved color codes
• Monitor drying times and environmental conditions
• Inspect surfaces for runs, bubbles, uneven coats, or stains
• Ensure safe handling of chemicals and PPE compliance
• Reduce repainting and material waste
• Approve finished items before final QC or packaging
• Maintain spray equipment and finishing tools

• Finish defect rate
• Paint and chemical consumption vs standard
• Rework frequency
• Turnaround time per item
• Safety compliance score

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years spray painting/finishing experience
• Strong color matching and surface prep knowledge
• Safety-conscious and process-driven
