    Fashion Production Manager and Quality Control Officer

    Duties

    • Create designs for garments, fashion accessories and other apparels with the use of imaging software programs like Photoshop and Illustrator.
    • Sketch drawings using various mediums including paint, charcoals, coloured pencils, and computer software programs.
    • Select the appropriate colour, sound, and animation that will go well with the existing fashion concept.
    • Develop fabric patterns and designs that will be used for manufacturing clothing
    • Maintain open communication with the production departments, CEO and buyers
    • Overseeing the production process.
    • Ensuring production is cost effective.
    • Drawing up a production schedule.
    • Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality
    • Working out the human and material resources needed
    • Drafting a timescale for the job
    • Estimating costs and setting the quality standards
    • Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
    • Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.
    • Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes.
    • Liaising among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers.
    • Working with managers to implement the company’s policies and goals.
    • Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed.

    Qualifications

    • A Degree in Fashion Designing, Graphics Design and possess a flair, passion and talent for fashion
    • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or other graphics and digital illustration applications.
    • 2+ experience in production management
    • Have a certain amount of professionalism
    • Be able to manage time and people
    • Must be able to multitask

    Duties

    • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO.
    • Composing and preparing notes and briefs.
    • Monitors and responds to emails as well as call.
    • Performs research on required information.

    Job Description

    • You should have a firm grasp of accounting, risk, financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer, verbal and written communication skills.
    • You must be honest, professional, and analytical with excellent presentation skills and the ability to successfully communicate complex quantitative data.

    Responsibilities

    • Experience with tax laws and procedures
    • Compute taxes and prepare tax reports
    • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
    • Compile, analyze, and report financial data
    • Create periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
    • Maintain accurate financial records.
    • Perform audits and resolve discrepancies.

    Qualifications

    • A good Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields
    • Minimum of 2 years cognate experience in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), accounting software and Social Media web platforms.
    • ICAN / ACCA Certification is a plus
    • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
