    Head, Product Design

    Description

    • As Head of Design, you will spearhead Renmoney’s design transformation, creating a cohesive design language that enhances customer trust and drives business growth. Leading a team of  product and brand designers, you will champion a scalable Renmoney Design System, deliver intuitive and accessible user experiences, and collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams.

    Design Strategy & Leadership:

    • Define and execute a design vision aligned with Renmoney’s mission to simplify financial services.
    • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of  designers, fostering creativity and user-centricity.

    Renmoney Design System:

    • Develop and maintain a scalable design system (components, patterns, guidelines) to ensure consistency across digital platforms, in-store branding, and marketing materials.
    • Enforce guidelines for internal teams and external partners.

    Brand Identity:

    • Evolve Renmoney’s visual identity (logo, typography, color palette) for mobile apps, in-store signage, print materials, and digital campaigns.
    • Manage relationships with external agencies to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.

    Product Design:

    • Oversee UX/UI strategy for mobile apps, web platforms, and agent tools, delivering intuitive, accessible experiences for diverse users (e.g., instant loan users, SMEs, savers).
    • Conduct user research and usability testing to refine customer journeys.

    Customer Insights:

    • Integrate user feedback, behavioral data, and customer service insights to inform design priorities.
    • Champion a culture of empathy and experimentation within the design team.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to align design with business objectives and go-to-market plans.
    • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure technical feasibility and seamless implementation.

    Innovation & Accessibility:

    • Leverage emerging tools (e.g., AI-driven design, localization for Nigerian languages) to create scalable, inclusive experiences.
    • Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG compliance) and resonate with Nigeria’s diverse audience.

    Design Operations:

    • Streamline design workflows, improve project velocity, and manage multiple projects with clear documentation.
    • Coordinate with vendors and agencies for offline branding, digital campaigns, and print production.

    Executive Reporting:

    • Present design strategies, progress, and outcomes to the CEO and executive leadership.
    • Communicate design impact to board members and business stakeholders

    Requirements

    •  Experience: 7+ years in design roles, with 3+ years in a leadership position (e.g., Head of Design, Design Manager, Creative Director). Fintech, financial services, or product-led startup experience is a plus.
    •  Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design thinking across UX/UI, design systems, and consumer-facing branding.
    •  Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD), user research tools, and collaborative platforms (e.g., Notion, Whimsical).
    •  Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, influence stakeholders, and drive strategic design impact.
    •  Fintech Awareness: Strong understanding of Nigeria’s financial services landscape, user behaviors, and accessibility needs.
    •  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. Master’s degree or certifications are a plus.

    Product Manager (Business Banking)

    Description

    • As the Product Manager for Business Banking, you will spearhead the development and adoption of digital solutions to onboard and engage corporate clients on Renmoney’s web and mobile platforms. You’ll own the product vision for business banking, delivering features like business accounts, SME loans, bulk payments, and invoicing to meet the unique needs of Nigerian businesses. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll drive revenue growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and create intuitive user journeys that redefine SME banking.

    Job Description

    • Product Strategy - define and own the product roadmap for business banking, aligning with Renmoney’s digital-first strategy and SME growth objectives. Propose innovative features like cash flow tools or API integrations to stay ahead of market trends.
    • Corporate Onboarding - Design seamless digital onboarding journeys for SMEs and corporate clients on web and mobile, ensuring compliance with KYC/AML, CBN, NDIC, and NIBSS regulations. Optimize conversion rates across funnels.
    • Feature Development - Lead end-to-end development of high-impact features (e.g., business account dashboards, user role management, bulk payments, invoicing, transaction insights, SME loans). Test and scale solutions with engineering and design teams.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration - Partner with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Risk, Sales, and Distribution to align features with client needs. Work with Ops and Customer Service to ensure backend scalability and support.
    • Analytics & Iteration - Leverage customer feedback, funnel data, and tools like Amplitude to drive decisions. Run A/B tests to improve adoption, engagement, and retention. Track KPIs like transaction volume and feature usage.
    • Regulatory Alignment - Ensure all products comply with Nigerian financial regulations. Participate in risk reviews and policy formulation to maintain trust and security.
    • Adoption & Growth - Collaborate with Sales to drive client acquisition and engagement. Optimize user journeys to boost business account activations and transaction volumes.

    Requirements

    • 4+ years in product management, with 2+ years in SME/business banking, fintech, or digital financial services
    • Proven success launching digital onboarding or transaction products
    • Strong knowledge of SME financial needs (e.g., lending, payments, KYC, invoicing)
    • Ability to translate business problems into technical requirements
    • Excellent communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders

    Senior Accountant

    Description

    • Renmoney is on the lookout for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
    • You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare, examine, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
    • Manage and oversee general ledger activities, including reviewing and approving journal entries and schedules.
    • Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate financial data and insightful variance analysis.
    • Conduct periodic reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial ledgers.
    • Ensure timely and accurate regulatory filings and financial returns, particularly to bodies such as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).
    • Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, acting as a key point of contact for auditors and regulatory authorities.
    • Implement and monitor robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks and prevent fraud or mismanagement.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business performance.
    • Drive the automation and continuous improvement of accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Prepare consolidated financial statements.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 6+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a bank
    • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, ICAN) is highly desirable.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel.
    • In depth knowledge of IFRS
    • Audit experience (internal or external)
    • Experience with consolidated financial statements
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, meeting tight deadlines
