    Knowledge Management Monitoring and Evaluation Officer - BMZ TDA Project

    These are your responsibilities

    • Support in the implementation of effective monitoring, evaluation and learning strategies.
    • Ensure project-specific M&E Plans and reporting requirements are in line with donor requirements.
    • Responsible for the implementation of humanitarian programme knowledge management, research, documentation and dissemination of learning activities/ strategies.
    • Maintain managment information systems for warehousing and reporting humanitarian programme data.
    • Put in place a strategic policy and procedure for the humanitarian programme.
    • Responsible for routine M&E activities which include Data Quality Assurance , process systems and tools, in collobration with the coutry office M&E Officer, program manager, finance manager and the humanitarian team members.
    • Support the CO M&E lead in the the planning,implementation and documentation of program research and learning.
    • Collobarate with the CO M&E lead, Communication Coordinator/Officer, program staff and partners to ensure that knowledge management processes, program monitoring, evaluation and learning include persons with disabilities.
    • Support the capacity building and mentoring of the program team and project partners in knowledge management, monitoring, evaluation and learning.
    • In collaboration with the Communication Officer, support the development of material for communications based on the collection of qualitative and quantitative data.
    • Provide oversight for the tracking and reporting of the humanitarian projects to ensure that evidence and learning is approppriately reported and disseminated ro relevant stakeolders.
    • Ensure continuous tracking of CBM CSP program data, to support evidence-informed policy influencing programme implementation, learning and strategic engagement with stakeholders.
    • Participate proactively in project review and planning process and budgeting ensuring programme quality and value for money.
    • Lead the project team in developing the annual and six monthly and quarterly reports.

    These are your qualifications

    • University Degree in Social Sciences, Health or Management related field.
    • 4+ years relevant experinece in an M&E and or/ knowledge management role.
    • Strong expertize in monitoring and evaluation of complex projects, including M&E systems set-up implmentation,documentation and dissemination of learning, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, research design, project management cycle and social inclusion.
    • Experience in reporting on complex projects to international donors.
    • Experience working in M&E and learning and/or programme management in health sector an advantage.
    • Experience in managing databases.
    • Work experience in secure environments.
    • Knowledge of MS Navison and MS SharePoint solutions.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while juggling and coordinating multiple/conflicting priorities and deadlines.
    • Ability to integrate into a multi-cultural environment.
    • Must be proactive, seeking to do things differently, and to solve problems effectively and efficiently.

    Humanitarian Project Coordinator

    These are your responsibilities

    • Provide technical support to the project team and partner organisation to ensure compliance to humanitarian standards, disability inclusion and implementation of agreed plans.
    • Support project team members and partner Organisations to implement and monitor a coherent, inclusive and qualitative humanitarian response in target states.
    • Work with the Knowledge Management/ M&E Officer to develop and ensure proper project monitoring system following CBM/donor format and requirements.
    • Support partner to ensure that narrative reports and communication materials are submitted in timely manner and are of high quality.
    • In close cooperation with line manager and Finance manager, support partners and ensure the logistic, admin and financial monitoring of the project (call up of funds, acknowledgement of receipt of funds, procurement of materials, utilisation of expenses and compliance with accountability principles.).
    • Participate in coordination meetings (cluster meeting) and support mainstream humanitarian actors to include disability in mainstream services being provided to affected population.
    • Continuously assess situation and support partner organisation to re-adjust activities as per need after discussion with line management.
    • Facilitate documentation of learnings and evaluation of the response.
    • Conduct field trips to monitor the implementation of project operations as specified in the work breakdown.
    • Ensure effective data collection of all activities implemented at the state level.
    • Provide timely reports on all activities of the project.
    • Carry out other task/responsibilities assigned by line manager or other senior colleagues.

    These are your qualifications

    • University degree in social sciences, humanitarian or development studies or other relevant disciplines.
    • Minimum of five (5) years professional experience in emergency response management/coordination or in project management, preferably with international development organisation.
    • Experience in project team management and providing technical direction.
    • Strong analytical problem solving including budget and planning skills.
    • Expereince in leading high level advocacy to key stakeholders including goverment.
    • Knowledge of grants administration, and ability to interpret grants-related documents and accurately respond to them.
    • Experience in providing support to local partners/sub-grantees or working with a donor organisation.
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of project cycle management including knowledge of humanitarian system and work.
    • A mature leader and capacity builder with sufficient self-confidence to delegate task and responsibilities.

    Programme Finance Coordinator - BMZ TDA Project

    These are your responsibilities

    • Support the business development activities of the humanitarian team and the country office.
    • Lead in supporting partner organisations to effectively manage grants and qualitative humanitarian response in target states.
    • Provide technical support/guidance to partner organisations to ensure compliance in line with international and/or donor requirements for project grants.
    • Work with the Country Office Finance Manager to develop and ensure proper fiance monitoring system following CBM/donor format and requirements.
    • In close cooperation with Finance manager and Humanitarian Programme Specialist, support partners and ensure the logistic, admin and financial monitoring of the project (call up of funds, acknowledgement of receipt of funds, procurement of materials, utilisation of expenses and compliance with accountability principles).
    • Support with the development and implementation of compliance framework including compliance checklist for various standard operations, transactions and business processes in line with CBM/donor requirements.
    • Support the development of compliance monitoring plan and evaluation tool to evaluate project implementations at various locations and partner level to determine compliance and provide recommendations.
    • Provide timely project budget implementation feedback to PARTNERS’ senior management and support in the monitoring of programs.
    • Preparing financial documents (e.g., PARTNERS Financial & Procurement Checklists) for approval; by critically analyzing financial processes and procedures for compliance.
    • Documenting the key highlights noted in the financial monitoring reports and reporting on the progress of the implementation of recommendations by CBM, project auditors and other stakeholders through persistent follow ups.
    • Lead the set-up of PARTNERS’ financial system in line with CBM CO financial processes and procedures.
    • Support the review of periodical programme funds reconciliation statements and financial reports of PARTNERS’ in coordination with the PARTNERS’ finance team to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial reports.
    • Contribute to the development of Terms of Reference for project audits and ensure that CBMs accountability requirements are incorporated in the TORs.
    • Any other related tasks as assigned.

    These are your qualifications

    • University degree in accounting, banking and finance, business management or other relevant disciplines.
    • Minimum of Five (5) years professional experience in a similar role, preferably with an international development organisation.
    • Strong analytical problem solving and financial modelling skills.
    • Experience working with non-profit programme management, budgeting, auditing etc.
    • Knowledge of grants administration, and ability to interpret grants-related documents and accurately respond to them.

    Project Admin Assistant - BMZ TDA Project

    These are your responsibilities

    • Supports the coordination of the procurement process and assists the Senior Officer Administration & HR in planning and organizing events, accommodation and travel bookings.
    • receives/delivers hand-mail, manages the petty cash and assists in secretarial and administrative matters for the efficient running of the project.
    • Create an efficient filing/labelling system.
    • Ensure proper filing of documents as requested by colleagues.
    • Assist in photocopying, scanning and binding of documents as requested by other colleagues.
    • Ensure adequate procurement report writing.
    • Takes Minutes of Meetings and ensure adequate report writing.
    • Work with the Finance Manager and support the Senior Officer Admin and Human Resources to ensure that utilities are timely paid.
    • Ensure consolidation and timely stocking and restocking of daily office supplies (stationeries, spare parts, kitchen consumables, telephone airtime, cards etc.).
    • Provide necessary meeting stationeries when needed.
    • Ensure proper management and timely replenishment of the petty cash.
    • Perform any other administrative duties as assigned.
    • Have an understanding of the CBM Finance Handbook section on procurement policies and best practices.
    • Participate in procurement meetings as directed by the Senior Officer, Admin& HR.
    • Maintain an appropriate data base to track and manage vendor lists and running contracts under works, consultancy and services within required threshold.
    • Support the Senior Officer Admin & HR in handling all consultancy contracts and processes.
    • Support in providing regular contract status reports using the contracts Database.
    • Assist in organizing tendering processes as required, ensuring processes are transparent, provide value for money and are properly documented.
    • Assist the Senior Officer Admin & HR in ensuring that contract terms are observed by contractors, constantly making follow-ups and providing necessary amendments for contracts
    • Support in ensuring timely and accurate payment processing and documentation.
    • Assist in maintaining a database of prequalified vendors and contractors used by CBM CO.
    • Ensure proper filing of all project procurement documents.
    • Maintain an updated asset/inventory management processes including tagging and periodic assessments.
    • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Senior Officer Administration & HR.

    These are your qualifications

    • Business Management or Administration and office Technology & Management or related field.
    • Any professional administrative qualification will be an advantage.
    • Two years’ of experience in a similar role.
    • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel) and good report writing skills.
    • Effective communication skills (Verbal and Written).
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while juggling multiple/conflicting priorities and deadlines especially in organizing accommodation and flight bookings.
    • Good written and spoken English.
    • Ability to integrate into a multi-cultural environment.
