    General Manager, Projects

    Principal Construction Manager

    Job Summary:

    • As a Principal Construction Manager, you will be fully responsible for all assigned construction projects and design construction statements, equipment, personnel and material schedule required for all assigned projects. Duties may include creating work schedules for your team and allocating responsibilities. You would also be required to conduct site visits and report to the DPIM on project progress.
    • You would be directly responsible for quality, speed, and cost management in line with BOQ and work program.
    • Also, as a Principal Construction Manager, you would be required to plan and execute all activities relating to the delivery of a minimum 500 (Five hundred) cubic meter of concrete works per day and other related activities.

    Primary Responsibility:

    • Effectively manage the project milestones of all the Senior Construction Managers under his/her supervision.
    • Take ownership and provide leadership of the site, coordinating all site Personnel, Stakeholders and Management and coordinate daily Toolbox meetings.
    • Receive all construction drawings for all aspect of the project work and review same with the Project Engineer for the particular project before issuing same to the Engineer.
    • Coordinate a weekly work projection planning meeting with the key site personnel including the Senior Construction Manager, Store Manager, Project Engineers/ Supervisors, Chief Security Officer, Logistics Manager, where the work activity for a new week is planned, and the required resources (i.e., materials, plants and equipment etc.) are deliberated upon, and jointly approved with the Store Manager and Chief Security Officer. A projection planning meeting report, indicating the variance analysis is to be prepared and forwarded to the HQ on Fridays as the Weekly Site Report.
    • Provide oversight to all the roles he / she supervises on all projects, ensuring that required works / jobs are done to planned schedules and materials issued based on work specifications.
    • Manage site imprest in conjunction with the Site Administrative Manager.
    • Make available all necessary work requirement (i.e., personnel, materials & equipment) for all pending job and timely escalate any shortfall / resource unavailability to the upline.
    • Coordinate the implementation of all daily scheduled work plan, and timely escalate to your upline, any identified deviations from the work plan / challenges hindering a successful implementation of the work plan.
    • Recommend to the Project Manager, intended work plan required to make up for time lost on any work activity that ought to have been done but, were not done and or were not completed.
    • Ensure that all statutory government approvals and tests are carried out and submitted to the appropriate agency as and at when due.
    • Ensure that all defined specifications on all works including concrete, steel etc. are fully adhered to.
    • Liaise with the Design Team to sign-off on critical stages of works prior to covering up same, based on a schedule has would have prepared beforehand.
    • Escalate all identified safety issues resulting from deficiencies/ lapses and demand that redresses of such are carried out and or implemented.

    Senior Project Manager

    Job Summary:

    • As a Senior Project Manager at Rhema Projects, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing complex construction projects. You will work closely with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.     Time Management (60%):
