    General Manager, Projects

    Job Summary:

    • As a General Manager – Projects, your responsibilities would include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise.
    • You are expected to have experience in overseeing business operations as well as human resources, finance, and communications. Also, it would be required that you are an expert communicator who has a strong ability to delegate responsibility and collaborate across a range of departments. Ultimately, you should be driven by a desire to lead our business to maximum productivity and efficiency

    Primary Responsibility:

    • Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals and ensure their completion, and accomplish your own goals
    • Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve objectives for sales, profitability, and market share
    • Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively
    • Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
    • Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values
    • Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involved
    • Determine staffing requirements and ensure that company positions are filled promptly.
    • Approving spending for relevant departments based on data and critical thinking.
    • Improving internal processes and ensuring employees work as a cohesive unit.
    • Managing administrative, logistical, human resources, and accounting services to support company operations.
    • Creating business plans to support the company’s financial objectives.
    • Reviewing data (financial, sales and activity reports) to ascertain levels of profitability and suggesting potential improvements.
    • Formulating department/unit policies and practices
    • Applying strategic planning to determine company, department or unit objectives
    • Prepare regular reports to provide insight into the company’s operational success or failure
    • Build the company image by collaborating with customers, government, organizations, and employees
