    Finance Executive

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, monitor, and review company budgets in collaboration with relevant departments.
    • Ensure accurate forecasting and financial planning to support operational and strategic goals.
    • Provide timely and detailed financial analysis and variance reports to senior management.
    • Manage the creation, approval, and tracking of purchase orders across both companies.
    • Oversee purchase-to-pay processes and ensure they align with budget expectations and company policies.
    • Monitor supplier invoices and payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial procedures.
    • Handle financial activities related to loans, including negotiations, repayments, and interest calculations.
    • Ensure efficient management of company debt and capital structure.
    • Provide strategic financial advice on financing options and cash flow management.
    • Prepare and review of financial statements in line with accounting standards.
    • Work closely with external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and clarification.
    • Ensure the company complies with regulatory and tax obligations.
    • Prepare periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for internal stakeholders.
    • Ensure all financial records and transactions are accurate and compliant with local regulations.
    • Track key financial metrics and suggest improvements for cost efficiency and profitability.
    • Maintain and improve financial controls to safeguard the company’s financial integrity.
    • Handle general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing procedures.
    • Support in the implementation and review of financial systems and software.

    Qualifications

    • Certification: Must be a certified Chartered Accountant (ICAN) or equivalent.
    • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or auditing, with a strong background in budgeting, purchase orders, financial reporting, and loan management.
    • Key Competencies:
    • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and auditing standards.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

    Human Resources Executive

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
    • Manage employee engagement initiatives to promote a collaborative and supportive culture.
    • Oversee the administration of employee compensation and benefits, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards.
    • Conduct regular reviews of compensation structures, benefits packages, and recommend improvements.
    • Ensure timely processing of payroll, bonuses, and other employee benefits.
    • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to onboarding new hires.
    • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
    • Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience, maintaining a strong employer brand.
    • Handle employee grievances and disputes, ensuring that complaints are addressed and resolved in accordance with company policy and labor law.
    • Manage the exit process for employees, including conducting exit interviews and preparing relevant documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to labor laws, including attendance, wages, health and safety, and leave management.
    • Stay updated with changes in labor laws and regulations to ensure the company remains in compliance.
    • Identify training needs and assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of employee development programs.
    • Collaborate with managers to assess skills gaps and ensure the development of tailored training programs that address business needs.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and statutory documentation as required by law.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS).

    Requirements
    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Certification: CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management) certification is an added advantage.
    • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist with a strong focus on employee relations, compensation & benefits, recruitment, and labor law.

    Skills:

    • Solid understanding of labor laws, HR practices, and statutory compliance requirements.
    • Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
    • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

    Other Requirements:

    • Candidate must reside within close proximity to Lekki.
