• Work closely with partners to provide transactional, regulatory, and advisory support

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks in Nigeria and Africa’s energy markets
• Exhibit excellent drafting, analytical, and research skills, with commercial awareness and attention to detail

Requirements include:

• B.L from the Nigerian Law School or equivalent Bar qualification in another African jurisdiction
• 3–7 years’ post-call experience in a reputable commercial law firm with focus on energy, oil & gas, power, or infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience handling energy or infrastructure transactions
• Excellent writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong legal research competency and ability to manage multiple projects

• Possess strong expertise in corporate finance, project finance, capital markets, and infrastructure finance
• Advise on structuring deals, drafting & negotiating finance documents, and guiding clients on regulatory/compliance issues
• Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, drafting, and presentation skills
• Show proven ability to work independently with attention to detail
