Energy & Infrastructure Associate at DealHQ Partners

The successful candidate will:

• Advise on transactions across oil & gas, power, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects
• Work closely with partners to provide transactional, regulatory, and advisory support
• Contribute to the structuring and execution of high-value energy projects across Africa
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks in Nigeria and Africa’s energy markets
• Exhibit excellent drafting, analytical, and research skills, with commercial awareness and attention to detail

Requirements include:

• B.L from the Nigerian Law School or equivalent Bar qualification in another African jurisdiction
• 3–7 years’ post-call experience in a reputable commercial law firm with focus on energy, oil & gas, power, or infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience handling energy or infrastructure transactions
• Excellent writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong legal research competency and ability to manage multiple projects
