Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of production costs, including raw materials, and overhead expenses
• Conduct daily quality assurance checks on budgets
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost accounting records
• Ensure that workflow process is followed
• Collection of raw data to determine the cost of materials
• Checking and verification of raw material stockard for updating on daily basis
• Checking of minimum and maximum raw material stock level in the store
• Generating all production worksheet
• Report on periodic variances and their causes
• Report on margins by product.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Sc in Accounting or Commercial Courses
• At least 2 years work experience in FMCG
• Proficiency in Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.

Job Description

• We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Quality Assurance / HSE Officer to oversee product quality and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards within the production facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure that all paint products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
• Maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspections, and product performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments within the factory and office premises.
• Organize safety training and awareness programs for staff.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, or near misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements from relevant authorities.
• Liaise with management to improve quality assurance processes and workplace safety.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a minimum of HND / B.Sc in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry,or any related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in quality assurance or HSE, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations.
• Good analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Professional certification in HSE is an added advantage.
