    Responsibilities

    • Food Preparation: Preparing ingredients (washing, chopping, measuring), cooking dishes using various methods (grilling, frying, baking), and presenting food attractively.
    • Kitchen Management: Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitized work area, ensuring equipment is in good working order, and managing food storage.
    • Quality Control: Checking the freshness and quality of ingredients and finished products to ensure they meet standards.
    • Inventory & Ordering: Monitoring food stock levels, identifying shortages, and placing orders for ingredients and supplies.
    • Teamwork: Collaborating with other kitchen staff, assisting with dishwashing, and sometimes delegating tasks or directing other staff.
    • Adherence to Standards: Following established food safety and hygiene guidelines, portion control guidelines, and recipes accurately.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Culinary Skills: Proficiency in various cooking methods, knife skills, and ability to follow recipes precisely.
    • Experience: Proven experience working as a cook in a professional setting.
    • Food Safety Knowledge: Understanding of food handling, sanitation, and health regulations.
    • Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication skills to work effectively with the kitchen team and management.
    • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain an organized workstation.
    • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

    Waitress and Waiter

    Responsibilities

    • Guest Interaction: Greeting customers, escorting them to tables, and presenting menus.
    • Order Management: Accurately taking food and beverage orders, relaying them to the kitchen, and ensuring they are served correctly.
    • Service & Fulfilment: Delivering food and drinks promptly and efficiently, checking on guests throughout their meal, and refilling beverages as needed.
    • Table & Environment Management: Cleaning and resetting tables, ensuring the dining area is clean, organized, and inviting.
    • Payments & Transactions: Presenting bills and processing payments accurately and courteously.
    • Communication: Maintaining clear and effective communication between the dining area and the kitchen staff.
    • Customer Service: Ensuring guest satisfaction through polite interactions, timely service, and prompt resolution of issues.
    • Operations: Managing the daily flow of service, from table setting to clearing and cleaning.
    • Hygiene & Safety: Following all health and sanitation guidelines for food handling and preparation.
    • Inventory Management: Assisting with stocking, managing supplies, and reporting shortages.
    • Staff Coordination: A key duty for management roles, including hiring, training, and leading the F&B team.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 2-5 years of work experience.
