    Color Matcher

    Job Summary

    • The Sales Manager’s Job is to develop sales plan and sales strategy for market that ensures attainment of company sales, goals and profitability in consultation with Business Manager / Business Director.
    • The Sales Manager manages sale of the company's products and services in defined geographical areas.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Perform production color-matching to standards.
    • Confirm print quality at the beginning of each press run with press operators and stop run when necessary to allow operator to correct process problems.
    • Follow established processes and procedures.
    • Label ink being returned to ink room with new drawdowns and weight affixed to pail.
    • Reduce downtime wherever possible. Goal is no more than 4 color hits or one-hour maximum per job.
    • Record ink usage on production order.
    • Keep color-matching areas clean and orderly at all times, including cleaning lamp diffusers in color match booths.
    • Must ensure that all drawdown rods are cleaned weekly with Ceram Clean II.
    • Must see that retains are filed during any downtime; at least on Fridays during Paint wash up.

    Job Requirements

    •  BSc / HND in Paint, Chemicals or Mechanical Engineering
    • Well-exposed to B2B & B2C Marketing and must have exposure in leading a team of 4-5 people.
    • Minimum of 5 Years of Experience in mixing Auto Refinish Paints & providing technical service to the Body Shop / Furniture Industry.
    • Good knowledge about the Auto Refinish coatings, their specifications, application etc.
