    Job Description

    • We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Platform Engineer to join the Cloud CoE team who are collectively responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and operating the cloud infrastructure platform to support applications and workloads.
    • You will utilize your expertise across major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and OCI combined with knowledge of automation tools and infrastructure-as-code practices to engineer modular, secure, scalable, and highly available foundations for cloud-hosted systems.
    • Engineer a secure, highly available, and autoscaling infrastructure on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and OCI.

    • We are seeking a Network Engineer to join the Group Infrastructure Network team based in Kenya.     Requirements
    Education:

    • Educated to Degree level from a recognized university in Computer Science or relevant subject in Technology. Preferably holds an Engineering Degree.

    Professional:

    • At least 5+ years of experience in a Technology / IT function in a recognized international organization
    • In-depth knowledge of x86 & SPARC Hardware, Solaris OS & Oracle Virilizations (LDOMS/Zones)
    • In-depth knowledge of RedHat Linux OS + Windows Server
    • In-depth knowledge of VMWare vSphere, vRCLI & vROPS, ARIA
    • Excellent Knowledge in High-end and Mid-range storages (PowerMax/PowerStore/DataDomain/ECS) including design and replication technologies.
    • In-depth Knowledge of Enterprise backup solutions (Networker/NetBackup).
    • In-depth Knowledge in Veritas Cluster including fault tolerant configuration and maintenance.
    • Design and deploy systems with HA.
    • Should have very strong working knowledge on OS & Infrastructure Application patching, maintaining Oracle Solaris (11) Patching Repository, RedHat Satellite servers & Qualys patching tool.
    • Performance Tuning skills in OS (Unix/Linux) / Storage & Backup.
    • Excellent Knowledge in Ansible automation tools and scripting
    • Experience in Public Cloud (OCI/Azure/AWS)
    • Proven expertise in computer science, software engineering and information systems preferably for financial services industry
    • International certification on RedHat Linux, Solaris, VMWare, Storage, Backup products will be added advantage.

    Personal:

    • Excellent analytical and problem management skills.
    • Dedicated approach to service management
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
