    Class Teacher

    Job Summary

    • The Class Teacher will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full educational teaching plan according to the school’s requirements.
    • He/she will help cultivate the pupils’ interest in education and be their dedicated ally in the entire process of learning and development

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develops lesson plans which meet established the schools’ curriculum
    • Adapts and reassesses lesson plans to meet specific pupil needs, comply with newly implemented guidelines or rules, update relevant information and include new developments in education
    • Manages the diverse ability levels of pupils
    • Adapts curriculum to fit pupil needs while maintaining overall class progress
    • Possesses and continually develops a working knowledge of school curriculum programmes and frameworks.
    • Assess and record pupil development, while identifying problem areas and areas which need attention and improvement.
    • Provides a safe, positive learning environment for pupils
    • Observe the children keenly to know when they need medical attention.
    • Ensure children appear neat at all time
    • Prepare children for presentations for schools events
    • Communicates with any and all other staff members who engage with pupils
    • Communicates with parents as per school guidelines on a regular basis, including presenting pupil progress reports and informing parents of requisite pupil discipline
    • Maintains order and discipline among pupils while promoting safety and compliance with school rules and guidelines
    • Attends occasional continuing education seminars
    • Attends and takes part in school meetings on curriculum, organisation, and guidelines
    • Assist in ensuring pick up and drop off goes smooth
    • Undertake any other duty assigned.

    Job Requirements
    Education:

    • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Education
    • A PGDE /Masters's in Education and a background in Montessori education will be an added advantage
    • Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate will be an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a good school.

    Job Competencies:

    • Proven experience as a class Teacher
    • Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
    • Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
    • Excellent communication and instructional skills
    • Ability to act as a mediator between children
    • Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
    • Have a balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen.

    Assistant Numeracy Teacher

    Job Summary

    • As Assistant Numeracy Teacher, you will be required to deliver lessons that develop pupils' theoretical and applied mathematical skills.
    • You will also be responsible for assigning homework, grading assignments and quizzes, and documenting pupils' progress.
    • He/she will be able to create a stimulating learning environment that is sensitive to pupils' psychosocial needs.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate pupils' understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
    • Preparing and distributing learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes.
    • Sourcing the resources and supplies needed for lessons.
    • Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning.
    • Grading assignments and quizzes in a timely manner.
    • Invigilating quizzes and final examinations.
    • Documenting and reporting on pupils' progress.
    • Attending meetings with parents and staff.
    • Undertake any other duty assigned.

    Job Requirements

    Education:

    • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Education with a specialization in Mathematics, or equivalent.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a reputable school.

    Job Competencies:

    • Proven experience as a Math Teacher.
    • A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching.

    Front Desk / Administrative Personnel

    Job Summary

    • Front desk / Administrative Personnel act as support to the school is the first contact / front line in receiving visitors, staff and pupils to the school.
    • He/she will also provide general administrative support duties to staff.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Welcoming, receiving, signing in and dealing with and directing staff, pupils, parents, school governors, school visitors and other stakeholders as appropriate
    • Managing the staff, pupils, parents and visitor school entry system
    • Operating the school’s main telephone, transferring calls, or taking and delivering messages as appropriate
    • Managing the school’s main inbox, replying, forwarding messages and making appointments for staff as appropriate
    • To build and manage the ambience of the front office.
    • Manage incoming calls in a pleasant phone manner.
    • Manage correspondence between school, parent and prospective parent
    • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
    • Build sustainable relationships and trust with Parents/Pupils/Colleagues through open and interactive communication.
    • Provide accurate, valid and complete information during the inquiry.
    • Handle parent complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
    • Keep records of parent interactions, process and file documents
    • Participate in the admission process
    • undertake other duties as directed.

    Job Requirements
    Education:

    • A Degree in Humanities or any Social Sciences from a reputable University.

    Experience:

    • At least two (4) years work experience within an Administrative team.

    Job Competencies:

    • Good command of written and spoken English
    • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
    • Familiarity with MS office package
    • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
    • Ability to work in a team
    • Good administrative skills.
