    Legal / Compliance Officer

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program
    • Create effective internal controls and monitor adherence to them
    • Draft and revise company policies
    • Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses
    • Evaluate business activities (e.g. investments) to assess compliance risk
    • Collaborate with internal/external auditors, internal control and HR as necessary
    • Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation
    • Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices
    • Fulfill regulators’ reporting obligations
    • Check products from legal and compliance perspective.
    • Receive and direct compliance issues for investigation and resolution.
    • Develop, maintain and review compliance policies to prevent improper, unethical and illegal conduct.
    • Handle rules, regulations and policy violation and review and suggest procedures initiation.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Requisite Law degree
    • At least 3 years professional experience preferably within the financial services environment.
    • Good understanding of Compliance activities in Financial Services
    • Excellent working knowledge of relevant Microsoft tools;
    • Good knowledge of CBN regulatory reporting
    • Attention to detail and analytical skills
    • Excellent communication and organization skills
    • Strong Stakeholder Management and great team-play.
    • Self-Starter and ability to work independently

    Telesales Executives

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Contact potential or existing customers to inform and sell PFL products and services.
    • Answer questions about PFL products or the company
    • Engage customers to understand client needs and close sales
    • Maintain great customer relationship for increased brand equity
    • Enter and update customer information in the database
    • Take and process client orders in an accurate manner
    • Handle grievances and objections to preserve the company’s reputation
    • Meet sales quotas and facilitate future sales
    • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
    • Document and report customer feedback

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Min. of a Bachelor’s degree
    • 1 year proven experience in financial services and similar role.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially excel
    • Excellent interpersonal Skills
    • Working knowledge of local languages is an added advantage

    Internal Auditor

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining reports, records, documentation and operating practices.
    • Completes audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings.
    • Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation.
    • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending CBN workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
    • Maintains internal control systems by updating audit programs and questionnaires; recommending new policies and procedures in line with CBN regulations.
    • Communicates audit findings by preparing a final report; discussing findings with auditees.
    • Complies with applicable legal requirements by studying existing and new security legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

    Investment Officer

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Secure investments that promote the financial interests of the organization.
    • Manage portfolio projects, and building client relationships.
    • Evaluate structure, negotiate, and close new transactions, portfolio restructurings, rescheduling, capital increases etc.
    • Develop a strong pipeline of good quality investment opportunities.
    • Develop innovative and appropriate financial structures for straightforward transactions
    • Participate in negotiations; use negotiation skills to overcome impasses and finalize negotiations in straightforward transactions.
    • Works with PFL management and board to develop a strong pipeline of good quality investment opportunities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, businesses and investment clubs/institutions to further develop the sector and to develop specific investment opportunities.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Min. of a Bachelor’s degree (Added degree/certification will be an advantage)
    • At least 2-3 years experience in finance with a proven track-record of sourcing, structuring and closing investments
    • Knowledge of relevant industry sector trends, experience in emerging markets is a plus
    • Strong financial and credit skills; demonstrated ability to structure a variety of financial instruments (debt). Business development and client relationship skills.
    • Ability to interact directly and independently with potential clients, of financial and technical partners
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in other languages is a plus
    • Strong inter-personal skills, ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues from various cultural backgrounds

    Finance and Accounts Executive

    Job Description  

    •   Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues, assets and liabilities)
    •     Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
    •     Forecast costs, revenues and analyze financial trends
    •     Manage tax payments and organize internal audits
    •     Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by unit)
    •     Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
    •     Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments

    I.T. Manager

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    •     Assessing the technical needs of staff or clients
    •     Establishing and maintaining strong relationships across teams and with staff/clients
    •     Measure service satisfaction levels
    •     Managing and upholding the troubleshooting escalation process
    •     Managing hardware and software
    •     Resolving system and application issues
    •     Assisting with IT equipment sourcing and budgeting
    •     Occasionally working with third parties to rectify issues

    REQUIREMENTS
