    Head, Procurement and Inventory Management

    We are currently looking to engage a highly competent and result-oriented Head, Procurement and Inventory Management with strong personal & professional integrity to join our dynamic team.

    Responsibilities

    The Head of Procurement and Inventory Management is tasked with managing and optimizing the procurement processes and inventory management system.

    He/she will be responsible for ensuring cost-effective procurement practices, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and supporting the institution\'s financial objectives. Principal Duties and Responsibilities performed by the employee in this position

    He/she is expected to;

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the institution\'s goals.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and sustainable procurement practices.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and agreements to achieve favorable terms as well as evaluate vendor performance and conduct regular vendor assessments.
    • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Also implement best practices in procurement, including e-procurement systems if applicable.
    • Monitor and analyze inventory turnover, identifying and resolving slow-moving or obsolete items and optimizing stock levels by designing & executing efficient inventory management methods.
    • Collaborate with finance teams to develop and manage procurement budgets and ensure procurement activities align with budgetary constraints and financial goals.
    • Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks while ensuring all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and institutional policies.
    • Lead and mentor procurement team and inventory management professionals to foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
    • Develop and maintain procurement and inventory performance metrics and document regular reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators.

    Qualification & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
    • A minimum of 10 years’ cognate experience, 3 of which must have been in a managerial position. 
    • In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, best practices, and market trends.
    • Experience with procurement software and inventory management.

    Senior Associate, Revenue and Credit Controls

    We are currently looking to engage a highly competent and result-oriented Senior Associate, Revenue and Credit Controls with strong personal & professional integrity to join our dynamic team.

    Responsibilities

    The Senior Associate, Revenue and Credit Controls will be responsible for managing revenue streams, ensuring financial compliance, and implementing effective credit controls. 

    He/she will work closely with the finance team to optimize revenue processes, monitor credit risks, and contribute to the institution\'s financial sustainability

    He/she is expected to;

    • Oversee the end-to-end revenue cycle, from student fee collection to institutional income.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue generation and ensure financial sustainability.
    • Collaborate with student services to address inquiries related to student accounts and oversee the accounts to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of fees.
    • Assess and monitor credit risks through the implementation of credit control policies and procedures and other measures to minimize bad debt.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements in revenue and credit control functions and provide insightful analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
    • Implement efficient and effective financial processes by ensuring compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and external reporting requirements.
    • Laise with auditors to facilitate financial audits and generate regular reports on revenue performance, credit metrics, and financial compliance.
    • Manage billing and invoicing processes for tuition fees, grants, and other revenue sources.
    • Ensure accuracy in financial transactions and compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including academic departments, student services, and finance teams, government agencies, banks, and other financial partners.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
    • Ensure adherence to tax regulations, prepare and review tax returns, and stay updated on changes in tax laws.

    Qualification & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. 
    • A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in revenue management, credit controls, or a similar financial role within an educational institution.
    • Exposure and insight into higher education and business schools.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and manage their priorities. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, credit analysis, and accounting principles.
    • Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
