    Business Development Manager

    About the Role

    • The Business Development Manager (Partnerships & Expansion) will be responsible for driving new partnership acquisition and expanding Paga Remit’s footprint across key remittance corridors, including Nigeria, the UK, Asia, and the EU. 
    • This role is focused on originating and closing new business opportunities, onboarding strategic IMTOs, FinTech's, aggregators, and financial institutions, and driving inbound FX flows and revenue growth.
    • The ideal candidate is a hunter with strong commercial acumen, capable of identifying high-value opportunities, leading end-to-end sales cycles, and positioning Paga Remit as a preferred partner for cross-border remittance into Nigeria.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Identify, target, and acquire new remittance and FX partners across key global corridors
    • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline of IMTOs, fintechs, aggregators, and financial institutions
    • Lead end-to-end deal execution from prospecting to contract signing and onboarding
    • Drive revenue growth and inbound FX inflows through new partnerships
    • Develop and execute market entry and corridor expansion strategies
    • Conduct commercial negotiations, including pricing, FX margins, and settlement terms
    • Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Operations teams to onboard partners successfully
    • Represent Paga Remit in industry events, conferences, and partner meetings
    • Track sales performance, pipeline progress, and conversion metrics

    Senior Associate, Enterprise Risk Management

    About The Role

    • The Enterprise Risk Manager will be responsible for supporting the head in the development, re-design, implementation and maintenance of the risk management framework within Paga in line with the company’s strategic plans and its 3rd party activities.
    • This includes developing and maintaining detailed risk management policies and processes and working with key business stakeholders to facilitate the embedding of these across the organization.
    • The Risk Manager will also be responsible for the ongoing review and challenge of risk framework effectiveness and the implementation of risk management best practice. 

    Primary Responsibilties
    Managing Relationships:

    • Provide support to key business stakeholders in implementing the risk framework
    • Work closely with the Head of risk in defining the company’s risk appetite
    • Manage the relationship with the 3rd party outsourced provider risk representatives
    • Engage with company-wide risk champions
    • Primary contact for significant incidents or risk events.

    Managing Process and Administration:

    • Provide support to the Head of risk, in the design, documentation, communication and implementation of the risk management framework
    • Prepare, maintain and communicate detailed risk management policies and processes including the risk and control self-assessment process.
    • Lead the risk assessment process for the company’s key products and projects.
    • Assist in the annual review of the risk management policy (and supporting documents) in preparation for Board sign off, communicating amendments to business areas as required.
    • Scope and deliver the ongoing self-assessment of risk management processes and procedures, scoping, agreeing and implementing improvements as required
    • Review, assess and report significant risks and issues identified or reported by the business in line with the incident management process and assist the business in defining and agreeing remedial action
    • Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) tailored to a high-growth fintech environment.
    • Monitoring the implementation of action plans to address key risks on the risk and control self-assessments/risk registers.
    • Prepare and collate monthly risk reporting to the Head of Risk, Compliance and internal Audit and management.
    • Lead the identification and assessment of risks related to our technology stack, including cloud infrastructure, API integrations, and third-party dependencies.
    • Evaluate IT change management processes to ensure that product updates do not introduce security or operational vulnerabilities.
    • Review new product features to identify and assess risks related to fraud, transaction integrity, and data privacy, ensuring appropriate controls are embedded at the design stage.
    • Assist key business stakeholders in identifying and responding effectively to risks arising from internal changes or external events.
    • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive risk reports for the Management Committee and the Board.

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum in an analytical field such as Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, etc
    • At least 7 years relevant work experience
    • Knowledgeable in technology
    • Knowledge of risk management and auditing.
    • Must have completed the mandatory NYSC
    • Previous experience in a risk management role within financial services ideally within a Platform environment
    • Excellent knowledge of industry best risk management practice.
    • Experience in developing and implementing risk management policies and processes
    • Experience of reviewing 3rd party risks
    • Ability to understand and articulate the commercial benefits of effective risk management
    • Excellent communication, relationship management and influencing skills
    • Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships

    About the Role

    • The Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing and growing existing remittance partnerships across core high-volume corridors, particularly within the US, Africa & Emerging Markets. 
    • The role focuses on driving inbound FX flows, increasing transaction volumes, and maximizing revenue contribution from key IMTO and aggregator partners.
    • The ideal candidate will own partner performance end-to-end, ensuring strong relationship management, identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts, and supporting commercial initiatives that enhance partner value and retention.
    • This role plays a critical part in strengthening Paga’s position across key remittance corridors.

    Primary Responsibilities
