    Area Sales Manager

    Job Description

    • Our client is recruiting for an area sales manager to join their sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of sales representatives, developing strategic sales plans, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets


    • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
    • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the sales team to ensure professional development and goal attainment.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
    • Collaborate with the marketing department to create promotional plans and campaigns aligned with business objectives.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and distributors.
    • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to communicate product information and updates to clients.
    • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and generate reports on key metrics.

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
    • Must be based in Abuja or Plateau
    • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a minimum of 2 years experience as an area sales manager.
    • Experience of Handling a team of 5 to 8 Reps in Lagos and Have Handled General Product Segments and Hospital Products.
    • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building and managing successful sales teams.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, market trends, and regulatory guidelines.
    • Proficiency in sales management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.

    Medical Sales Representative


    • Prepare marketing and sales strategies and oversee marketing campaigns
    • Ensuring the company meets the monthly target
    • Taking feedback from patients and clients
    • Write, edit, and proofread marketing materials for use in different channels.
    • Participating in exhibitions and conferences organized by the company.
    • Undertake market research and establish the best way to reach target groups.
    • Analyze the impact of marketing campaigns and prepare measurement reports.

    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing software.
    • Creativity and commercial awareness.

    ESG Manager

    Job Summary

    • The ESG Manager, reporting directly to the Managing Director, will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating environmental, social, and corporate governance activities within the Company.
    • The role also involves ensuring adequate health, safety, and environmental processes are in place.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop strategies and policies to manage ESG, HSE, and sustainability matters within the Company, incorporating leading practices.
    • Ensure a healthy and safe environment for humans and livestock on the farm.
    • Develop and implement safety policies and plans across the business.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including biosecurity and ESG measures.
    • Conduct and report on biosecurity risk assessments periodically, identifying risk mitigating strategies.
    • Conduct preliminary ESG due diligence assessments on projects and activities, and liaise with external ESG consultants as required.
    • Maintain records on the ESG and HSE performance of the company in line with defined metrics, including benchmark analysis.
    • Identify emerging ESG and HSE risks and design mitigating measures.
    • Identify technologies that enhance the company’s HSE performance and recommend the same for deployment.
    • Facilitate relevant training programs to sensitize staff and visitors on the company’s ESG and safety policies.
    • Ensure safety gears are optimally stocked and properly deployed.
    • Ensure safety signs are well-positioned across the farm.
    • Ensure safety devices are well-maintained.


    • Relevant undergraduate Degree; Master's Degree in a relevant field is desirable.
    • Relevant certifications would be a plus.
    • Minimum of 4 years' experience in an ESG/bio-health management role with a minimum of 1 year in a senior officer role.
    • Proactive individual with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of environmental, social, and governance practices within the agribusiness sector.
    • Strong understanding of the Agribusiness Value Chain.
    • Analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, networking, and communication skills.

    • Integrated FMCG companies (e.g., PZ, Unilever, Nestle, Leventis, Grand Cereals, Dufil Prima, etc.)
    • Commodity Aggregators (e.g., Cellulant, AFEX, Baban Gona, etc.)
    • Agribusiness-focused International NGOs (e.g., IDH, PIND, FARA, ARDP, etc.).
