    Area Sales Manager

    Job Description
    The Job Description includes, but is not limited to the following.

    • Responsible for coordination of all sales activities and achievement of sales growth in all sales territory
    • Oversee the activities, coach and monitor the performance of sales representatives
    • Achieve sales targets and give feedback on sales trends by conducting market research and analysis to evaluate trends
    • Devise and present ideas and strategies to promote sales of the company’s products
    • Promotional activities through trade shows, event marketing, and activation
    • Prepare route plan and ensure marketing team adheres to it strictly
    • Coordinating sales team to generate leads
    • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence
    • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering and understanding their needs.
    • Present sales, revenue, and expense report and realistic forecasts to the management team
    • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years work experience.
    • The preferred candidate should have had a similar experience in a food or beverage industry with at least 5 years of work experience in a similar role.
    • He/She must be familiar with the business trends in the Region.
    • The ability to drive with a Valid Driver’s License is compulsory.

    Van Sales Representative

    Job Description
    We are in need of Van Sales Representatives to cover and drive sales within Lagos. The Job description includes, but is not limited to the following:

    • Assist key distributors in secondary sales within the assigned territory.
    • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key distributors to drive sales of all company’s products in the assigned area.
    • Prepares route plan & adheres to it strictly.
    • Ensure sales routes are planned for and followed diligently.
    • Sell company products to potential retail outlets & customers.
    • Responsible for all sales activities in the territory assigned and the achievement of sales growth in the sales territory.
    • Maintain a cordial relationship with customers within assigned territory and expand the territory by identifying potential customers.
    • Must be accountable for all the stocks in his custody and payment for products supplied/sold.
    • Ensure product availability/visibility in the markets and neighborhoods
    • Communicate all marketing and customer issues to his/her immediate line manager promptly.
    • Report on competitors’ activities in the market
    • Ensure to sell all SKUs for assigned distributors without discrimination and achieve volume target.
    • To always sell within the assigned selling route/territory daily with no cross-carpeting.
    • Achieve daily set target
    • Give feedback on sales trends by conducting market surveys.
    • Be involved in promotional activities through trade shows, event marketing, and activation within the assigned area.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / OND / HND qualification with a minimum of 5 years work experience.
    • The preferred candidates must be Male/Female who has experience as a field or van sales representative in the food or beverage industry and be familiar with the markets in Lagos.
    • The ability to drive with a valid driver’s license is compulsory.
