    Analytics Manager (West & Central Africa)

    Location: West & Central Africa

    Job Description

    • As we strive to expand our regional presence and drive the offer, we seek a growth-minded person to help drive growth in our West & Central African (WECA) market – inspiring internal and external stakeholders and showcasing the power of analytics.
    • This person will be responsible for two (2) things mainly :
      • Commercial: Delivering business target for Analytics in West and Central Africa (WECA)
      • Solution: Working with the regional and global marketing POI practice team to deliver to client.
    • We are seeking a dynamic hi-potential professional with 10-12 years’ with strong background in brand and marketing ROI work – Media mix modelling, marketing mix modelling, campaign optimization, brand positioning, brand architecture, Equity analysis, etc. with proven track record in driving analytics based thinking to clients / internal organization.

    Responsibilities
    This leader will be responsible for:

    • Growing the commercial revenue stream for WECA Analytics Practice
    • Representing Kantar’s analytics capabilities to internal Kantar and external stakeholders, including but not limited to leading delivery of client work, ensuring high quality analytics are easily digestible for clients and client service teams
    • Identify key areas of growth and help shape the offer in Middle East & Africa
    • Participate in setting the agenda for the strategic growth initiatives within analytics
    • Partnering with Client Service teams in business development
    • Consult with clients on analytic approach
    • Partner with Client Service in research design (to enable analytics)
    • Work with product teams to scale appropriate products and solutions
    • Role success requires that the team member will be an analytic thought leader who: (a) ensures the ROI strategy and offer is aligned with global developments and well represented during global discussions, and at the same time, (b) embraces the unique demands of the Middle East & Africa market and leverages the vast resources we have across Kantar.
    • Has a confident comprehension of our collective ROI offer and an understanding of the competitive context
    • Be comfortable working with teammates across the portfolio, utilizing strong collaboration skills
    • Comprehend the selling points and appropriate applications of a variety of analytic solutions, both custom and standardized
    • Be commercially and client oriented, with ability to support sales agent and content consultant, and develop and activate a disciplined and cohesive strategy for growth. The strategy must tie together multiple considerations, including the following non-exhaustive list:
    • Drive revenue growth and profitability
    • Establish Kantar Analytics as a thought leader
    • Broaden and publicize Kantar offerings
    • Identify product development opportunities from client feedback
    • Develop implementation program for innovations.

    Other Responsibilities:

    • Build and develop the next generation of ROI Analytic leaders – both commercially and technically
    • Support strategy and overall business plan for the Brand and Marketing ROI Practice
    • Drive solutions development, in close partnership with business and solutions leaders across the Kantar
    • In partnership with key account leaders/Client Development/Marketing, develop and implement the Kantar go-to-market strategy, which will ensure we meet aggressive Middle East & Africa growth targets:
    • Drive analytic solutions development, in close partnership with business and solutions leaders across Kantar
    • Identify client needs (both current and future) for ROI approaches and turn them into action
    • Work with global team to ensure that the global positioning is relevant and can have longevity in Middle East & Africa
    • Ensure differentiated and relevant packaging for the Middle East & Africa market, partnering with the solutions partner in marketing group
    • Business development: Expert “Sales Force” supporting proposals and pitches
    • Thought leadership and consulting: Be visible with clients and on speaking platforms

    Capabilities

    • Proven credentials in industry and demonstrated success in integrated analytic experience
    • Fluency in analytics and non-survey-based research
    • Demonstrated cross portfolio collaboration
    • Strong client relationships and networking skills
    • Business savvy and commercial acumen.
