    Airtel Money & Business Reporting Analyst

    Support the Team Head for all financial reporting activities relating to Airtel Money & Other Business. Support in providing management with information relevant to aid decision making for Airtel Money & Other Business revenue and operational expenses efficiency.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Financial Reporting

    • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for internal purposes, group and statutory requirements.
    • Liaise with group Airtel Money and other stakeholders to fully understand the technical requirements and business guidelines set at group level.
    • Manage the process of preparing the periodic financial planning documents and historic financial statements to guide the business in planning and assessing its performance.

    Accounting Hygiene

    • Ensure all accounting entries are posted.
    • Approval of posting of non-routine entries – reversals, adjustments etc
    • Generating financial reports based on the collated data.
    • Validation of data and reports and FR checks
    • Revenue reconciliations and other key GL reconciliations
    • Accounting and reporting – TB, BS, PL, MAPA, CWN.
    • MIS reporting
    • Audit closure
    • Control checks and improvements
    • GL reconciliations

    Internal and External Audit Exercise

    • Ensure timely completion and coordination of Monthly / Quarterly Audits with no qualification or material adjustments.
    • Liaise with External and Internal Auditors to resolve audit queries.

    Operational Efficiency

    • Ensure all Transactions and Reporting are done within acceptable time frame without delay for closure timeline using appropriate tools to ensure that the business achieves the desired or better outcomes.

    Monitor Policies & Procedures Compliance

    • Ensure compliance with financial control policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with all tax requirements/legislation.
    • Ensure that all processes and controls are executed according to the set policies and procedure.

    Relationships Management

    • To manage relationship with Internal and External Customers and other service providers in relation to settlements and payment.
    • To manage relationships with other business partners e.g. all Leased line operators as well as Airtel Money.

    Regulatory

    • Monitor all regulatory requirements and advise respective staff.
    • Finance input for annual statutory returns
    • Contracts and agreements review
    • Prepare and submit regulatory reports.

    SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

    Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills

    • Graduate degree in Accounting or related discipline; Professional qualification in Accounting
    • Chartered Accountant: ACCA/ACA
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools
    • Adept user of Accounting packages; Oracle ERP and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
    • Good Communication (Oral & Written) and Inter-personal skills.
    • Detail Oriented and Analytical
    • Spontaneous and logical

    Relevant Experience

    • 6-10 years preferably in FMCG, Communication & Telecom

    Transmission Operations Engineer

    This is a vital position to support enterprise and shops in providing technical issue resolution for enterprise customer locations. This person will be interacting with the Partners’ teams’ very extensively. Robust, flexible and state of art fiber and microwave transmission network operations & delivery is the essence of the role.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Enterprise microwave and fiber link network operations:

    • Preventive and corrective Maintenance of microwave access & BB network to meet required link / network reliability criteria.
    • Study the new site’s requirements and prepare connectivity plan.
    • Take inputs for new customer integration and expansion from enterprise project team and implement expansion of transmission links / network.

    Last mile PTP and PMP maintenance for enterprise customers:

    • Analyse monthly and escalate any frequency interference cases as & when reported or noticed.

    Redundancy & protection resilience tests:

    • Ensure network redundancy & reliability better than 99.999%.
    • This should include expansion of existing network and planning of new routes as well.
    • IP Network including IPRAN

    Regulatory Compliance:

    • Sound knowledge of local regulatory requirements regarding frequency spectrum use.
    • Last mile, access & backbone network including link engineering. Validation of LOS reports and ATP documents. Preparation of feasibility reports as required from time to time. Carry out sample checks for LOS reports and ATP documents.

    Good Technical Knowledge:

    Must know in-depth knowledge of transmission technologies like microwave, Fiber networks, DWDM, SPDH/SDH, ASON, VSAT, MPLS, Data communications, etc.

    • Vendor partner governance.
    • Preparing RFP & Technical specifications
    • Close interactions with internal departments like Enterprise project, enterprise sales, deployment, and MS operations.
    • Bandwidth and capacity planning & management. Monthly monitoring of traffic, utilization and keep optimizing the links to ensure each links have sufficient capacity to carry traffic, where congestion exists, the network planning team be engaged.
    • Adherence to the local regulatory requirements wrt frequency spectrum usage.
    • Operations OPEX preparations, progress monitoring and tracking for Fiber and microwave expansions involving enterprise operational issue resolutions.
    • Day to day monitoring of KPIs of transmission network to ensure that the reliability is as good as it was planned.
    • Regular meetings with partners and other stakeholders.

    Talent Acquisition Lead

    The position will have overall responsibility for Airtel Nigeria manpower planning process of attraction and retention of best-fit talents in line with Airtel’s Human Resources and Talent Management Strategy in order to equip the organization with high calibre talents that will drive and achieve current and future Airtel Nigeria objectives.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Effective Implementation of talent sourcing strategies

    • Assist in the development of a recruitment strategy. This may include utilizing the best-fit communication and recruitment channels for various cadres of roles, Talent Planning etc.

    Strategy & PMO Executive

    JOB PURPOSE

    • To manage expectations of multiple stakeholders: Ensure buy-in and ownership of companywide and region level initiatives with Executive Council Members.
    • To Manage complex assignments / projects: Conceptualization, design and implementation of specific initiatives
    • To ensure timely and accurate data for Nigeria Executive Council review and suitable actions

    • Lead identified strategic projects as a program manager (design, project manage and follow up)

    Programme Management

    • Plan, coordinate & minute the strategic reviews & meetings and update the CEO on status of various initiatives to ensure implementations and deployments as per plan.
    • Review and monitor various key programs to ensure consistency with defined objectives.

    Support / Networking with internal / external stakeholders

    • Identify suitable external forums for representation Airtel Nigeria Networks to build the Airtel brand in the region.
    • Network with external forums to ensure representation from the organization and thereby enhance brand preference as an employer.
    • Liaise with key strategic and financial authorities, bodies and agencies.
    • Coordinate with senior leadership in Nigeria and Nairobi for key data and information exchange and report preparation.

    SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

    Educational Level:

    Must have:

    • A degree in Economics, Accounting or the social sciences.
    • An MBA or masters’ degree in financial Analysis or business planning is a key requirement.

    Working Experience:

    Must have:

    • Minimum 10 years of work experience in telecoms or financial services.
