About Centre for Integrated Health Programs (CIHP)
CIHP became a legal entity in June 2010 and a phased approach to transition is being implemented. Hence, Kaduna state ICAP office transited to CIHP in November, 2010. By the end of February, 2011, Kogi and Akwa Ibom ICAP offices also transited to CIHP and the remaining three states of Gombe, Benue a... read morend Cross River will be CIHP supported by September 2011. All the activities implemented by ICAP in these states will be taken over by CIHP and in addition, CIHP will provide interventions to address other public health concerns like, malaria, TB, reproductive health, immunizations etc. Lastly, to successfully implement these health programs, CIHP is committed to strengthening the building blocks of the health systems and supporting gender mainstreaming and empowerment.
