Ensure the initiation, development, and implementation of relevant programmes that will make the Nigerian youths engage with the Word of God.
Carry out projects and programme activities initiated by BSN towards achieving its mission mandate.
Carry out activities required for the implementation of youth-related projects and programmes in line with BSN operational direction.
Work with the BSN stakeholders—area youth leaders and the secretaries (volunteers)—to facilitate to facilitate execution of different Bible competitions and engagements as scheduled annually.
Ensure timely reporting of every programme implemented for further decision-making.
Ensures relevant workshops and seminars are organised for area officers and youth leaders of churches and para-church organisations in collaboration with the BSN internal stakeholders.
Ensures a productive working relationship with Christian and secular youth organisations to make the Bible relevant among youths in Nigeria.
Personnel Specification
Candidates should possess a degree qualification
Minimum of 2-3 years of cognate experience in youth-related programmes and projects from reputable organisations or NGOs.
Must be creative and passionate about programmes and youth-related projects in line with the BSN mission and vision statements.
Ability to develop and plan life-transforming programmes aimed at engaging the youth with the Holy Bible to achieve life transformation and biblical values orientation.
Ability to identify and analyse society’s programme needs, write life-impacting projects/programmes and implement the same successfully.
Ability to initiate, develop, and implement different youth-related programmes that will drive improved
Scripture reading abilities among Nigerian Christians.
Good self-application, selfless, kind and considerate, assertive, and an excellent team player
Good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, MS Word, and Excel.
