Account Officer at Swift Consulting

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Officer to join our transport firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, monitoring transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and have 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
• Record daily income and expenses and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Assist in payroll processing and statutory remittances.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare periodic financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
• Assist with audits and other accounting-related tasks.

Requirements

• ND/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1–2 years\' experience in an accounting role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional accounting certification is an added advantage.
