Warehouse and Inventory Officer at Synergy HR Solutions Limited

Our client in the Logistics and Warehouse business is recruiting for the below post.

CLIENT: LOGISTICS COMPANY

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Daily physical goods count and reconciliation of book and system balances at the warehouses.
• Proper identification and description of goods in the warehouse under your control.
• Ensure the warehouse is safe and can properly be locked, the roof, floor, and door are very fortified to store goods.
• Must physically verify all goods entering the warehouse. In addition, ensure that the goods are in good quality before accepting it into the warehouse.
• Ensure bill card (s) are maintained in the warehouse for all goods in the warehouse and must be updated on daily basis without failure.
• Keep accurate records of all waybills/goods receipt note/delivery note and ensure they are filled accordingly in seriality.
• Ensure that goods received into warehouse have all necessary documents (Airway bills/Waybills/Packing list or delivery notes) detailing van/truck number e.t.c for proper documentation.
• Ensure to safeguard your key and protect it, it is your PIN.
• You must ensure that authorized quantity of goods is the right quantity given out to the customer.
• Must prepare daily stock reports and situation reports around the warehouse and send to the manager. Please note; that your report is evidence based reporting (EBR) i.e all documents about the receipt and release of goods from the warehouse must be share to validate the report.
• Perform monthly physical stock count.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in finance/accounting or a related field
• At least 3 years experience in a similar position
• Relevant certification will be added advantage
