    Volunteer Social Media Manager

    About the Role  

    • As a Volunteer Social Media Manager, you will oversee AWiM’s social media presence and strategy on various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
    • This role involves creating and scheduling posts, engaging with followers, monitoring analytics, and implementing social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
    • As a Volunteer Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in helping AWiM connect with its target audience, build relationships, and drive meaningful online interactions. 

    Job description  

    • We are seeking a proficient Social Media Manager to integrate into our editorial team and oversee the management of our social media platforms. 
    • The selected individual will work closely with AWiMNews’ editorial and programs team to effectively strategise and implement social media campaigns, promotions, and pertinent events. 
    • Responsibilities include monitoring social media trends, evaluating performance metrics, and conducting data analysis to derive valuable insights into audience behaviour, subsequently leveraging these findings to enhance the overall AWiMNews social media strategy. 
    • Furthermore, the role involves nurturing and expanding the AWiMNews user and follower community through active engagement, including prompt responses to comments, messages, and inquiries. 
    • The incumbent will be expected to fulfil other associated duties as required within the scope of the position. 

    Key Requirements and Qualification   

    • Fluency in the English language is a prerequisite. 
    • Proficiency in Canva design software is a must. 
    • Competence in utilising pertinent video and graphics editing tools is crucial. 
    • Effective communication skills and the capacity to operate autonomously are required.
