As the Truck/Automobile Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining trucks and other company vehicles to ensure optimal performance, safety, and minimal operational downtime.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine faults in trucks and company vehicles
Perform routine maintenance including servicing, brake checks, and engine inspections
Conduct regular vehicle inspections to identify issues and prevent breakdowns
Maintain service records and report major repair needs or part replacements
Ensure all repairs comply with safety and operational standards
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE or Technical/Vocational certification in Automobile Mechanics
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with trucks or heavy-duty vehicles
Relevant certification in Automobile or Heavy-Duty Mechanics is an advantage
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, brakes, and electrical components
Ability to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
