    Travel Sales Specialist

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Travel Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves selling travel packages, flights, hotel bookings, and related services to individual and corporate clients. Based in Lekki Phase 1, the ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent communication skills, and a knack for closing sales.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Respond to travel inquiries and provide expert advice on destinations, products, and services
    • Sell domestic and international travel packages, including flights, accommodations, tours, and insurance
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through exceptional service and follow-up
    • Identify customer needs and tailor travel packages to meet those needs
    • Work with tour operators, airlines, and other service providers to confirm bookings and secure the best deals
    • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance KPIs
    • Stay updated on travel trends, visa requirements, and destination information
    • Handle travel changes, cancellations, and special requests efficiently
    • Maintain accurate records of bookings and client communications

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
    • 4-5 years of experience in travel sales or a related customer service role
    • Strong knowledge of global destinations, ticketing, and travel logistics
    • Proficiency in using GDS (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) is a strong advantage
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Goal-oriented with strong persuasive and negotiation abilities
    • Highly organized, customer-focused, and attentive to detail
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
