We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Travel Country Manager to lead and manage our travel operations in a specific country.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including sales, operations, customer service, and finance.
The ideal candidate should have a deep knowledge of the travel industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving business growth.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to achieve business objectives, including sales targets and profitability goals
Lead and manage a team of sales and operational staff to ensure high-quality service delivery to customers
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and industry associations
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
Manage financial performance, including budgets, expenses, and revenue streams
Develop and maintain a strong brand presence in the local market through marketing and promotional activities
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with other departments to ensure alignment of business objectives and activities
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field; MBA is preferred
Up to 10 years of experience in travel industry management or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve business objectives
In-depth knowledge of the travel industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and implement effective business strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Strong financial management skills with the ability to manage budgets and financial performance
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other business software
