Training Consultant – Effective Communication and Team Building for Workplace Productivity at Jhpiego - John Hopkins University

Purpose of Assignment

We live in a world of constant and rapid change. The skills, tools, and processes changes overtime. That is why reflection, as a part of the learning culture, is important. Reflection supports meaning-making and sense-making, and as such, it helps guide actions toward organizational goals which enables employees to explore their and other’s thinking as they experiment with solutions, adjust actions, and reframe problems. This training requires the service of a consultant to lead the session on “Reflective Thinking and Team Building for workplace productivity” at the training

Objectives

The overarching objective is to make effective use of the knowledge available in and across the projects/initiatives and grants.  Which includes: 

• Collection and retention of knowledge as institutional memory, including countering its potential loss due to staff mobility and attrition
• Identification of knowledge assets that drive the Jhpiego Portfolio in Nigeria’s healthy competitive performance
• Timely and open access to knowledge to enable high performance, efficient work processes, support system and cross-sectoral/cross-divisional synergies
• Systematic exchange of knowledge to inform decision-making processes in support of the individual project KM objectives.

Deliverables

• Deliver a session on Reflective thinking and Team Building for workplace productivity to participants of the training

Required Qualifications

• First Degree in Psychology, Business Management, Sociology etc)
• Master’s degree Masters of Art (MA) Communication and Language Arts 
• PHD will be an added advantage and/or professional certification in related field is an added advantage,
• At least 12 years working experience in related field,
• Extensive consultancy experience

SALARY:100,000 PER DAY
