Production Suervisor at Framegidi Limited

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Coordinator/Supervisor to manage and lead our printing department and oversee the production department. This critical role is responsible for overseeing the entire print workflow, ensuring that every digital image sent by our customers is resized in high-resolution print ready for framing. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in large-format printing, color management, and team supervision, driving both quality and efficiency in our production line.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management and Workflow Control. 

• Plan daily and weekly production schedules based on client deadlines.
• Create mockups for client approval when/where required and advise clients on framing methods and technical options.
• Assign tasks to printers, image handlers, and frame technicians in the correct sequence.
• Track job status in real time and remove bottlenecks quickly.
• Ensure jobs are completed on or before the committed delivery date.
• Document orders in company CRM and pass them to the fulfilment team promptly when  completed.

Print Preparation and Image Handling. 

• Supervise image handlers during print preparation and printing. 
•  Assist image handlers directly when workload is high or when a complex job needs oversight.

Production Floor Supervision. 

• Ensure efficient use of raw materials such as frames, paper, glass, mounts, tapes, adhesives, and hardware
• Reduce wastage, track material consumption accurately, and maintain discipline among production staff. 
• Create and enforce safety protocols for handling tools, equipment, and materials, and ensure the production space is clean, organised, and free of hazards.
• Step in to support production staff when necessary to maintain workflow speed.

Installation and Handover Coordination. 

• Schedule client installations in coordination with the operations team and installers
• Ensure finished products meet quality standards before handover to the fulfilment team. 

Qualifications

• Must reside on the mainland (Onipan, Ilupeju & environs)
• Experience: Proven working experience in large-format digital printing, photo lab management, or a commercial print production environment. At least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead capacity is required.
• Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Canon ImagePrograf Printers, color science, colour profile management[sRGB], and print media handling.
• Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, and potentially Adobe Illustrator, Sketch/Figma, for client mockups, designs and image resizing. 
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail, particularly regarding print quality, color consistency, and texture.
• Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a technical team.
