Technical Product Manager - DevOps Internal Systems and Tools
We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our technology team and take ownership of the systems, tools, and workflows that power our internal operations.
This role sits at the intersection of IT, DevOps, and service operations—focused on delivering tools and practices that help our teams work smarter, stay compliant, and provide great service to members and providers.
In a healthcare environment where reliability, security, and compliance matter—but technical fluency varies across teams—you’ll act as a translator, advocate, and organizer.
Your job is to bring product thinking to our internal platforms and processes, enabling better decision-making, smoother operations, and stronger alignment across departments.
What You’ll Do
Internal Product Ownership: Define and evolve roadmaps for internal systems like identity management, deployment tooling, monitoring dashboards, ticketing platforms, and knowledge bases.
Stakeholder Enablement: Work closely with non-technical teams (claims, member services, provider relations, etc.) to understand pain points and translate them into technical requirements.
Compliance Awareness: Help operational teams stay ahead of compliance, security, and other regulatory needs—without overwhelming them. Design workflows and tools that support compliance by default.
Process Optimization: Improve how teams request, access and use IT services, platforms and tooling. Optimizing the incident response processes. Bring a product mindset to process design and documentation.
Collaboration Across Functions: Partner with IT, DevOps to ensure technical initiatives align with business goals and day-to-day workflows.
Prioritization & Communication: Act as a hub for feedback, issue triage, and prioritization. Communicate tradeoffs and timelines clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.
Requirements
Experience as a product manager or program manager, ideally working on internal tools, infrastructure, or service operations.
Strong empathy for non-technical users. You know how to listen, translate, and advocate on their behalf.
Comfort working in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, insurance, finance) and collaborating with compliance and security stakeholders.
Strong technical skills and familiarity with internal tools, development platforms and IT support. You don’t have to be an engineer, but you should have a solid understanding of the domain.
Able to manage complexity, build trust, and make progress even when priorities shift or stakeholders need extra guidance.
