    Supply Chain Planning Manager

    Job Summary

    • The role will lead the company’s speed to market’ strategic drive to meet customers' demand promptly through efficient planning and forecasting. It will also ensure efficient use of the company’s working capital.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead all Sales and Operations planning process to ensure all are carried out and aligned across functions to achieve a one plan goal.
    • Engage all stakeholders (Finance, Marketing. Sales, and production) in the monthly planning cycle. Ensure proper alignment and communication with all to provide a realistic outlook for the business.
    • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data and evaluate forecast results.
    • Demand planning – reviewing stock requirements across all stock holding points using stock management tool.
    • Ensure product availability in the right quantity, at the right warehouse, at the right time and in a cost-effective way.
    • Financial and Business impact of stock days cover across all company warehouses.
    • Follow up on all orders and shipment of products to customers to ensure timely receipt at destination.
    • Prompt rollout of operational plans and monitoring in order to ensure smooth daily operations.
    • To promote continuous improvement in production planning and packaging.
    • Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of the demand planning function.
    • Analyze and update the planning parameters and related data within the planning system.
    • Develop concepts and coordinate product knowledge in order to anticipate customer demand.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree.
    • At least 7 years of experience in a similar role within an FMCG manufacturing setting.
    • Proficient understanding of Supply chain processes and industry best practices.
    • Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, email communication, and ERP systems.
    • Essential skills in forecasting and planning.
    • Advanced analytical and reporting capabilities.
    • A results-driven individual with the right attitude, excellent time management, and task completion abilities.
    • Strong team player with effective communication, leadership skills, and a proven drive for success.
