Teacher (Primary and Junior Secondary) at LBS Media Group

We are hiring a passionate, organized, and tech-savvy Teacher to support learning across Primary and Junior Secondary levels. This role is ideal for an educator who can deliver strong instruction, plan engaging lessons, and help learners build confidence, curiosity, and future-ready skills.

Location

• Lekki (Eleganza axis), Lagos

Work Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Teaching: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Planning/Assessment/Reports: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Start Date

• Immediate

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction across core subjects for Primary and JSS levels
• Prepare weekly/termly lesson plans aligned with learning goals and student needs
• Use project-based learning, practical activities, and real-world examples
• Create, administer, and grade assignments, tests, and projects
• Track student progress and maintain accurate academic records
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and learning summaries
• Provide academic support, guidance, and structure that builds strong learning habits
• Maintain a safe, calm, and engaging learning environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Proven teaching experience with Primary and/or Junior Secondary students
• Strong lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management skills
• Comfortable using technology for teaching and planning (digital resources, slides, online tools, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism
• Highly organized, attentive to detail, reliable, and punctual
• Enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about empowering children for a great future

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Education degree or teaching certification (e.g., B.Ed, PGDE, TRCN)
• Experience with small-group instruction or personalized learning
• Strong creativity in designing projects and learning activities

Transportation & Availability

• Must be able to commute reliably to Lekki (Eleganza axis) Monday–Friday
• Consistent punctuality is essential
