    Store Manager

    Purpose of the Job:

    The Store Manager is responsible for the overall operation and performance of the store. The role focuses on maximizing sales, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining a smooth and efficient store environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and meet revenue goals.
    • Plan and execute promotional events or marketing campaigns.
    • Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth. 
    • Create a welcoming and positive environment for customers.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally. 
    • Train staff to deliver exceptional customer service. 
    • Schedule employees and manage work routines to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. 
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
    • Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to make informed business decisions. 
    • Implement and enforce safety measures to protect customers, staff, and store assets.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum academic qualification of HND/BSc in business administration or any related discipline.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven work experience in a managerial role.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. 
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
    • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling practices. 
    • Familiarity with inventory management and ordering processes.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be able to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
