Store/Inventory Officer at Pally Agro Products Limited

Job Details

• The ideal person.shall be responsible for inspecting and receiving all incoming materials.
• Ensure the reception, storage, dispatch and daily management of the stock of products marketed by the company.
• Ensure the conformity of products received and delivered.
• Ensure the management of inventories: control of the rotation of goods, verification of their availability, procurement from suppliers, tidying, cleaning, inventory.
• Keep a record of sales and restock.
• Maintain an automated supply inventory database.
• Replenish supply inventories following established guidelines.
• Shall reconcile material ordered for with materials received in term of quantity and quality.
• Shall be responsible for maintaining the store ledger card/ bin card ,issuance of material receive note and system update of all material issued and received.
• The ideal person shall adequately applied applicable stock management for each store items.
• He/ She shall reconcile all stock discrepancy regularly.
• Shall be responsible for issuance of items from store upon the receipt of approved store requisition note.
• The ideal person shall ensure that minimum stock level are maintained while adhering to the reorder level.The person shall be responsible for coordinating all the store personnel and assign responsibility.
• The ideal candidate for the job must reside within Ashipa, Sagamu,Abeokuta .The ideal candidate must be computer literate with good knowledge of Peachtree accounting, Sage 50 and excel.
• Maintaining and updating records
• Counting materials, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock
• Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
• Distributing or stocking merchandise
• Receive and inventory stock
• Other various tasks as assigned
• Proven work experience as an Inventory Clerk or similar role
• Excellent math and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work extended hours
