Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lagos State, Nigeria, for a Senior SME Loan Officer.
• The Senior SME Loan Officer will manage loan origination, underwriting, and customer service processes.
• Key responsibilities include evaluating loan applicants, assessing their financial status, preparing loan proposals, and conducting credit analyses.
• The role also involves fostering strong client relationships, providing financial advice, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations and policies.

Qualifications

• Skills in Loan Origination and Loan Officers
• Experience in Finance and Underwriting
• Customer Service capabilities
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking or financial services, preferably in SME lending
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Nigerian banking regulations and practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
