Job Summary

• The Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for providing a comprehensive financial support service to the Finance Lead through ensuring the accurate processing and record keeping of income and expenditure.

Job Details

• Ensure all invoices are recorded accurately on the financial accounting system to ensure payments to internal and external stakeholders are made on time. 
• Prepare payment and communicate with internal and external customers including customers, vendors, banks, related parties, internal and external auditors. 
• Monitor tax and regulatory environment ensuring consistent compliance with all required regulations as well as handling tax audit exercises. 
• Adhere to finance policies and procedures with respect to authorizations and approvals. 
• Liaise with the Head, Finance and identify, prepare and report required monthly journals and management of fixed asset register. 
• Prepare and complete Bank Reconciliations, making sure that all outstanding amounts are resolved in a timely manner. 
• Prepare budget and financial forecast for the business and track business performance with set targets. 
• Report on a weekly basis to Finance Lead for review and sign off. 

Requirements

• A university degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related areas 
• Master’s Degree in a related field and a professional certification is an advantage. 
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role and industry. 
• Strong numeric and accounting Skills 
• Analytical & proactiveness 
• Financial reporting 
• Ability to operate with confidentiality, professionalism and integrity

• High competency in verbal and written communication and organization 
• Business acumen and understanding
