    Sales Supervisor


    The Sales Supervisor assists with planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the activities of the sales function for an assigned division or business unit to maximize sales volume, driving targeted profitable growth and professionally developing the sales staff  


    • This position is accountable for increasing sales/profitability through effective management of the sales organization, supervision of sales staff, and development of sales goals 
    • Responsible for achieving goals for sales
    • You and the store team will focus on increasing sales, conversions, and service throughout the store, while actively engaging customers to provide complete solutions
    • Focus on providing an exceptional store experience, consultative selling, driving conversion, and providing total solutions to every customer
    • Own weekly sales and merchandising activities
    • Leading the team to deliver a great customer experience.
    • Champion company initiatives, adaptable to change or responsibilities, and flexible to perform other duties as assigned
    • Complete daily tasks for merchandising and sales opportunities within the store
    • Assist with completing and delegating operational tasks in partnership with the GM
    • Peer coach team to deliver results through role playing and feedback
    • Supervise a staff of sales professionals and participate in hiring, training, coaching and performance management
    • Assist, as necessary, with new customer solicitation, bid preparation and customer retention strategies
    • Meet regularly with sales personnel and management to review sales activity funnel (CRM tool), customer retention and relationship activities, review sales performance compared to goal, production and training needs
    • Ensure the sales professionals’ effective use of the Company’s Contact Relationship Management tool to develop robust information profiles on prospective customers and facilitate acquisition of new customers
    • Maintain accountability for sales goal achievement, including but not limited to respective key metrics and/or budget achievement
    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Company’s available products & services, lines of business, pricing structures and sell additional services to existing retail, commercial and industrial clients, as appropriate, to grow targeted revenue and contribute to Company goals and objectives
    • Complete all required sales reports in a thorough and timely fashion
    • Supervise all phases of sales activities to ensure goals are met safely and efficiently
    • Responsible for monitoring all store sales functions to conform to company policies and procedures
    • Work with all sales and production personnel to continually improve store results and execute company strategies
    • Participate in the hiring, training, and proper delegation of sales personnel and scheduling work hours
    • Monitor and evaluate job performance; train and develop sales staff
    • Communicate and implement policies and procedures; lead by example for the rest of the team
    • Prepare sales reports and assigned tasks for the store
    • Conduct weekly meetings with sales staff to keep team updated and maintain sales team enthusiasm, ensure a positive attitude, and review key performance indicators
    • Ensure all company policies, sales and marketing programs and merchandising initiatives are current, communicated and implemented
    • Ensure all sales transactions and cash management procedures are in compliance with company policy
    • Helps drive a positive customer experience by building relationships, exhibiting empathy, and providing solutions to their needs
    • Handles customer escalations and problem resolutions in person and on the phone
    • Ensures smooth and accurate customer processing
    • Our Sales Supervisor builds quality relationships with retail consumers to provide them with relevant and memorable products, services, and technology expertise


    • Strong people skills with an outgoing, friendly, positive attitude
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
    • Able to handle multiple competing tasks and priorities, and perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision
    • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products
    • Able to work required hours which may include weekends and holidays
    • Experience in scheduling employees in a sales environment
    • Good communication skills; is able to effectively communicate to all levels of management, both internally and externally
