    Sales Specialist

    Job Overview

    We are seeking a Sales Specialist to manage and grow our distribution channels within the Western region. The ideal candidate will drive offline sales by engaging Valumax (Stone) distributors and downstream wholesale and retail outlets and converting leads into business opportunities. Strong communication and sales skills, along with an intrapreneurial mindset, are essential. The selected candidate will be required to visit distributors and downline outlets on scheduled timelines to monitor sales, ensure continuous stock availability, and maintain brand visibility.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Conduct regular visits to Valumax (Stone) dealers to perform inventory checks and ensure optimal stock availability.
    • Negotiate and finalize commercial agreements with prospective dealers to drive business growth.
    • Ensure strong in-store product visibility and brand representation through effective merchandising and display standards.
    • Monitor weekly sales performance and prepare bi-weekly reports to support strategic decision-making.
    • Identify and onboard new retail outlets to expand brand presence in untapped markets.
    • Coordinate the end-to-end sales process by liaising with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate invoicing.

    Key Skills and Qualifications

    • Experience developing and growing FMCG distribution channels and managing active accounts.
    • Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
    • Negotiation and persuasive selling abilities.
    • Customer-focused mindset with emphasis on retention and satisfaction.
    • Market awareness and competitor analysis capability.
    • Strong analytical and sales reporting skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel & PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.

    Experience & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • 3–5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in FMCG, consumer goods, or similar fast-moving industries.
    • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Hands-on experience working with distributors, wholesalers, and retail channels.
    • Practical knowledge of sales processes, territory management, and customer relationship management.
    • Experience preparing sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
    • Proven experience managing brand visibility and in-store merchandising standards.
