Job Overview

• The Van Sales Representative / Merchandiser is responsible for driving a company vehicle to deliver products to clients, manage inventory, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• This role combines sales and merchandising functions to increase product visibility and drive sales growth in designated territories.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive vehicle to deliver products to customers within assigned routes.
• Maintain and manage inventory in the vehicle, ensuring stock levels are adequate and replenished as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while developing new business opportunities.
• Promote and upsell company products to meet sales targets and objectives.
• Merchandize products at customer locations, ensuring proper placement and presentation.
• Conduct market research and provide feedback on customer preferences and competitor activities.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• NCE / OND / SSCE with 2 - 4 years experience.
• Proven experience in sales, merchandising, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
• Familiarity with the local market and customer base is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry products and materials.
• Frequent driving and standing for extended periods.
• Proven experience in sales, merchandising, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
• Familiarity with the local market and customer base is advantageous.

Salary
N50,000 - N60,000 monthly.
